In Walter Isaacson's biography of Elon Musk, there's an anecdote where Musk played poker with a group that included Max Levchin. During the game, despite not being an experienced card player, Musk chose a highly aggressive strategy. He consistently went all-in on every hand, losing repeatedly but continuously rebuying chips. Eventually, after many losses, he won a hand by going all-in again, then promptly declared he was done playing. This poker strategy parallels Musk's tactics, where he often stakes everything, reflecting his life theme of not taking chips off the table but instead risking them to achieve his goals. Musk lives his life by going all in. And winning.
