@GrahamSmyth Many will moan about this for the sake of wanting a shiny new toy. However, I love that Leeds are doing this. We have little reason to panic at the moment, and he’s CLEARLY not a £30m player. If another team wants to cough up that amount for him elsewhere i’m not losing sleep.

@jrttlufc @talkaboutlufcv2 100% last year the squad needed churn and 10+ players. This year it needs a more calculated upgrade. The club has said this from the get go. I understand impatience but the window is going extra as required and planned so far

@scottlarsen_pi I don't think our recruitment has been bad over the last few seasons though. Certainly much better than when Radrizzani & Orta were in charge. I'd be more concerned if we were losing our best players - and that hasn't happened. I hope that continues to be the case. #lufc

I'm not that worried about our slow start to the transfer window. I don't think we've lost key players. Still have others like Wober, Harrison, Schmidt, Gelhardt & Piroe to find new homes for.#lufc

Sorry but £20M for Struijk is a very poor fee, if they want £52M for Van Hecke we could've very feasibly had got £25-30M out of Brighton.

Ouch. Not good, but clearly Gabi has had a very good season, so interest from other clubs is no surprise.
Hopefully we can keep him, considering he has a deal till 2029, but Chelsea are known for placing very high bids for their targets, willing to go to the extra mile.
