@CJNitkowski No, I 100 percent agree that it is a weird rule and it is an advantage. It’s just that the narrative lately makes it seem to people who don’t know any better that the rule was made to benefit the Dodgers. I didn’t hear Craig Counsel talking about it when the rule was made.

Rules are added, adjusted and eliminated all the time. And sometimes it takes a couple of years to see how a rule plays out to really get a feel for its effectiveness and efficiency. Be objective and acknowledge that the extra roster spot for a pitcher has no justification and is an unfair advantage.

An official just said “Braun’s left leg was established on the left side of his body”…well, I’m glad…because if it was on the right side, we’d have quite an issue…I mean, really???
