Sensitization does not mean allergy. True food allergy is something much smaller. Without a clinical history of reaction, you don't end up at a diagnosis. So that panel food test you just asked for is just a terrible, terrible idea... link.springer.com/article/10.118… @DrDougMackMD

Here's the thing... there's zero evidence that a dog sniffing your child's food can detect peanuts for them. Get one if that's how you want to spend your money but don't do it because you think there's science to your choice.

No idea of the evidence base for avoiding food cooked in peanut oil @foodallergy. It’s a myth IMO,as harmful as the other food allergy myths that limit peoples quality of life and food choices. Let’s hear it.
