@clutchtimex @Scott_Pert You realize he scored in one right? Also Football is a team game sometimes good players lose finals.
English

@Scott_Pert When exactly did Rooney stepped up? Cause with England he was a bum
English

@RammyJr_00 @Pete_Js @tobac39 @Chelsearory So you’re saying the prem was bad back then because current Prem teams have a bad CL week 8 years later? Yeah that makes sense.
Plus you realize if you say prem is weak but Rooney won a CL with a prem team, it mean he’s even better.
English

@londonNY1980 @Cpfcdazzler86 @ManUtd It’s really not at all. Was a deliberate foul, and made no intention to go for the ball.
Keeper wouldn’t have got the ball if he wasn’t pulled back.
English

@Cpfcdazzler86 @ManUtd It’s so corrupt. All your points are bang on
English

A) wasn’t even a foul
B) was also a dive
C) was outside the box
D) Henderson is literally next to the ball
Verdict : oh fuck lads, @ManUtd are behind - we need the race for the top 4 interesting : give a pen, and send lacroix off.
You corrupt bastards
English

@mattgoffsales @BBCSport @TD_Canada Agreed. This is totally crazy now. I was on the live football feed and after every 2 update lines a full page ad. Made the app unusable. Disgusting
English

What is going on with your mobile app @BBCSport - pop up ads the last couple of weeks completely ruining the experience, @TD_Canada the main culprit. Awful. Sort it out please.
English

@TheAthleticFC The thing with these decisions were that they are clear and obvious and could be sorted out in seconds. If VAR always worked like that there’d be no issue. It’s the time it takes, micro forensic analysis on non events that kill the game.
English

'The main point here seems obvious: all these controversial decisions across Villa-Newcastle and Inter-Juve would almost certainly have been corrected had the officials been able to look at them again via VAR, so therefore this is an argument in the technology’s favour, right?
'Well, perhaps. But I put it to you that the world has continued to turn. Now, as in the days before VAR, some bad decisions were made, people complained, but life carried on. Officials made some mistakes, as all of us do every day. In the Villa vs Newcastle case, the team who were ‘wronged’ by the decisions overcame this mountain of injustice and won anyway.
'Is this not a glimpse into a better world? A game free from meddling technology, that didn’t feature interminable delays in search of a perfection that doesn’t exist? Human fallibility on full display, football as it was meant to be?
'I would say, yes. This is the football that we once had. Embrace it.'

@RobMcColl1 @SkyFootball Clubs did vote for it, hence why it’s legal, but it’s not that it doesn’t suit me, it goes against the spirit of the competition and will also allow another advantage to the bigger clubs. Clubs often vote for things that benefit them but not football. Eg The super league
English

@JondanielHarris @SkyFootball You can't change a rule back just cos it doesn't suit you, the clubs voted it in I don't see it changing anytime soon
English

@RobMcColl1 @SkyFootball The rule is legal, but a bad rule. They should change it back
English

@SkyFootball The rules were in place before this years competition started so what's the problem
English

@GerFrancisBarbr @IzzardMike @FansAgainstVAR_ I agree it’s tough, but if you have a 10cm tolerance or something then if it’s still a marginal decision then fans and team can say ‘yeah it was close, but he’s already had some leeway’ so it’s more palatable.
English

@JondanielHarris @IzzardMike @FansAgainstVAR_ But you have to draw the line at a point anyway. You can't have grey areas because then you'll have people complain their goal was disallowed while another was allowed.
English

@DjangoZooms @IanDarke Haha always Villa? Yeah, ok. Every fan says the exact thing about their own club every week. If fans from all clubs stuck together on these issues then it would get sorted but rivals taunt each other until it happens to them and then complain.
English

@GerFrancisBarbr @IzzardMike @FansAgainstVAR_ I don’t think that’s what it is. It goes against the spirit of the game. No one wants to see goal ruled out because someone was half a millimetre offside. Who does it benefit?
English

@IzzardMike @FansAgainstVAR_ The technology is too accurate for them. They want it to be less accurate and to create more grey areas. You can't make this shit up.
English

@Maska_Umar_16 @ThatsFootballTV *penalty on Mbeumo not the Cunha one
English

@ThatsFootballTV That’s what I said
Referee didn’t give foul for shirt pulling
It should be a corner kick
English

@Maska_Umar_16 @ThatsFootballTV If he didn’t pull his shirt he wouldn’t have been in th position to make the tackle.
Wasn’t a penalty. Sure. But was a foul so unsure why the complaint.
United should have had a penalty and Fulham goal came from a wrong throw in decision. Be consistent
English

@clips_ken @ChinoUTD Agreed. People seem to struggle with what inconsistent means. He could be unplayable but also the most frustratingly wasteful player.
English

@ChinoUTD He definitely was inconsistent. After Ronaldo left though and Valencia came in, he had 2-3 good years. Still had bad performances here and there but overall much better than before, especially 2010-12. Injuries got the best of him after that.
English

@danb841 @noahB97_ @ArjunMorar @kobychill @pleasuresystems I’ve not been a fan of the 10 film format. Too many mid level films get nominated. It should be reduced back to 5 to ensure quality, but there’s more money for Hollywood to expand it.
English

@noahB97_ @ArjunMorar @kobychill @pleasuresystems Frankenstein is ok. F1 is a little silly to include. To be honest the Oscar’s including blockbusters (which btw started with Coogler’s BP) is the real issue. Absolutely bonkers that Black Panther is best picture nominated.
English

@Dave_Alder @EPLBible I don’t know my man. Have seen lots of decisions go against all teams due to VAR. united have had some awful ones against them and had official apologies from PGMOL. Only seem to make more news when it’s top clubs so maybe why you feel that way?
English

@PaulHewitt91074 @EPLBible You’ve obviously not watched much football at OT in the last few years. So many bad or controversial decisions go against them. Some go for them. VAR inconsistency impacts ALL clubs so write about that to help football and not blame Man U
English

@EPLBible Not at OT where the officials are too scared to give them
English

@Dave_Alder @EPLBible Such a lazy cliched response.
English

@Ai420a12 @I_AM_WILDCAT @Battlefield It’s funny I agreed with the original poster and then after seeing your response I actually agree that the current system is ok
English

@I_AM_WILDCAT Plating needs to be faster. The minimap should be positioned as desired. Footsteps from teammates cannot sound the same as enemies.
Other than that I had a great time @Battlefield
English

@NonFlyingIceman @hassledvania @Mike_FIRE @TheCinesthetic I agree. Ross has some of the funniest bits in the whole series. Tanning, teeth and paste pants to name a few. David Schwimmer was underrated as a comedic actor.
English

@hassledvania @Mike_FIRE @TheCinesthetic The show has not aged well but later Ross has very funny plots employing some superb slapstick and David Schwimmer plays them beautifully, he was funny.
English
