This might just look like a regular picture but whenever it pops up.. I remember that exact moment… 10 years ago my kids had just picked me a dandelion bouquet (favorite) . It was Mother’s Day. I took this picture and my abusive ex husband just screams at me “ why are you trying look so seductive? You look like a slut. After months of being certain I could not vote in this #ClosedLists monstrosity, I went to the polling station. Why? My 3 children all voted, 2 of them for the 1st time plus I was moved & inspired by the approach of @LloydCymru & @YoungmanMj. Today is a dark day for Democracy.

On the way back from voting today my wife said to me “Of course I didnt vote Plaid. i bet they wouldnt even consider me Welsh”. She was born in Wales Always lived and worked in Wales. English mum. Irish dad. But 100% Welsh. To me this sums up Plaid and their supporters. Unless you arrived in a dingy obviously 🙃

Plaid Cymru literally call themselves the party of Wales - this is a bit arrogant in my opinion. I was born in Wales. Have lived, worked and paid taxes (a lot of taxes) all my life in Wales. I am as Welsh as any blind indy voter. As any numpty who says the English rule us and who want to destroy the UK. I dont speak Welsh but that doesn’t mean I am any less Welsh. So Plaid do not represent me. I do not want an independent Wales. It’s a pipe dream. Its fools gold. I do not want their radical far left policies. They are worse than labour (which says enough). (But maybe not as bad as the Greens who are frankly barking mad). How can they be the party of Wales if they are so divisive. That they exclude so many who feel like me. They should change their name to something more relevant. Maybe plaid rhai o Gymru The Party of some of Wales. Not all of us. Not the ones who are not separatists. We do not live in the rose tinted past and want to break up the UK. I want a Wales that rewards success. That doesn’t look backwards. That has the best education, health and GDP in the UK. Not the worst. Thats why i will never vote for them. (This outburst is a result of all the abuse I have had from Plaid supporters recently all of whom were blocked- this is a hint 😉)

@swansea_indy I’ve thought Idah has shown promise since signing, especially with his pace and movement. Since injury he’s shown more promise and I think next year could be very good. Walta will also shine next year.
