This is a difficult question, so my answer may sounds a bit silly. But I think the way people who truly believe in his existence can feel his presence the same way God knows who his followers are? Some might not know his teachings word by word, but if the faith is strong he shows himself- not physically but throughout the pace you feel when you need it the most. As for the bible, is not God who can’t preserve it, it’s the people.

I definitely need to study everything in detail. But thank you for the insights. I have been a bit skeptical about the bible just because of the way history is written and I’ve always anchored my faith in personal experiences and my connection with God. But it seems like the Bible is just like a compass.

@selena_742 My TL;DR - We are standing on the brink of Revelation chapter 6 and beyond. If you look at the first eight verses and look around at world events... It's eerily like the pieces are getting set up on the board.

@selena_742 I think some of these conclusions are plausible. Where I first begin to diverge is the suicide attack against aircraft carriers. Perhaps Iran would do that, but that's not typically a Russian or Chinese doctrine of war

Sad to see how easily mankind forgets this. When you think about it, we are literally on a rock, floating in an infinite space and at any given moment a meteor can hit us. It’s a miracle we exist.
