@KindlyLoudly With you 100%. Especially on the dessert. Here’s a screenshot of my own daughter’s last tweet before she died. A tradition we now carry every Christmas
A thread about why, if you fancy dessert, you should always order dessert.
When Ruby was 13, we had a family holiday with Ruby’s cousins in Helford, Cornwall.
The kids all did a sailing course - it was a bitterly cold week where it really didn’t feel like July.

@markjw52 Great thread and can relate, however I’ll give you a huge BUT….I experienced all this with my eldest and then lost her to cancer aged 21. Would give anything to turn back the time and be more patient through the difficult stage in which we did not get along.
My daughter turned 13 last month at what age will I actually start to like her again? 🤷♂️
Just to be clear I love her to bits but that’s not the same is it 😂
In 2004, Annabella’s brave big sister, Millie, died from leukaemia when she was just 21. 11 years later, Annabella became one of our Education Volunteers, and has delivered over 60 talks in schools to encourage young people to join the register.
@Jonney_JB@ItalyinUK I wonder the same. Their tourism website is actually saying that quarantine still applies. The website has been updated as per order on 27th August italia.it/en/useful-info…
🚨🚨🚨 #Covid_19
As of 1 September, people fully vaccinated traveling from the UK to Italy do not have to quarantine.
Negative pre departure test (48h) and passenger locator form still required.
@FabioCossu2 Once again, thank you. I forwarded this to the hotel and they have now accepted my booking. Couldn’t have done this without you. Have a great day.
@FabioCossu2 Thank you. You are very kind for taking the time to do this. Much appreciated. I’d best get back onto the hotel! Have a good rest of the day.
Fully-vaccinated Britons arriving in Italy with a negative Covid-19 test will no longer have to do quarantine from Tuesday, the health minister said. dlvr.it/S6WC3J
@FabioCossu2@TheLocalItaly Thank you, I am hoping that is true but cannot seem to find that information from his tweet yesterday, which said he was ‘extending’ the restrictions and UK travellers would need to quarantine (no change)
@SkyNews Are we sure this is correct? A simple Google translate of the health minister’s actual tweet (which is what news channels appear to be using as a source) says quite the opposite.
Travellers from the UK will no longer have to quarantine when they arrive in Italy if they are fully vaccinated and can show a negative COVID test trib.al/CwK59ko
Today we remember the remarkable Alice Byron. 🖤
Five years ago today she passed away, but her legacy continues to have an incredible impact on the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
Here’s her story. 👇
The Christmas Party/Cards/Presents fund just went to @AnthonyNolan to help people with blood cancer find a match that could save their life, in memory of our beautiful @alice_byron#BeALifeSaver
We will make a £10,000 donation to @AnthonyNolan when we hit 10,000 shares of this film.
For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival.

🎉 Together with @dkms_uk, @nhsbt and @welshblood we are *beyond* excited to announce that the combined register of potential stem cell donors in the UK has just hit the 2 MILLION MILESTONE! 🎉
Aged 16-30 and not on the register yet?
