@dabfordale @RacingRT1 The problem with this Debate is that some wilsay "Cup Only" but you have Modifieds, Late Models, and other Divisions represented in the Hall before people like Edwards and Khane who ran in cup. If Sam Ard is in the Hall, then so can Justin.

@Jonny683 @RacingRT1 Sure, but Denny out paced him on every other stat in existence and ran his prime in the playoff era. I’d have Denny in over Martin Truex and Bobby Labonte too if it was a binary choice, but luckily all of those are or will be in.

Let me ask you this, then.. if Denny Hamlin races in NASCAR for 20+ years in Cup but has NO championships, does he deserve to be in the HOF alongside guys like Johnson, Petty, Gordon, etc? If we are using those guys as the example, “should” a Cup guy with none get in?

@RacingRT1 We have Harry Gant, Ricky Rudd, Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, Junior Johnson, Cotton Owens, Fred Lorenzen, Donnie Alison in. Denny Hamlin is no question by that standard.

@UrinatingTree Unfortunately, they have to respond to a global threat, so you can't blame F1 for canceling these races for the safety of those involved. It's like the Dakar Rally moving from Egypt to South America amid terrorism fears in the middle east.

The moment I praise F1 for turning a corner, they have to cancel races and are all but making the same mistakes NASCAR did with their cars. All the while NASCAR has enjoyed some good racing in the early going. Lol.
