The BBC got caught fabricating a narrative by editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it look like he directly called for violence. That isn’t journalism. It’s manipulation, and it’s morally bankrupt. They need to be held accountable.

The whole point of an army is to keep women out of the fight. The only excuse for putting women in the fight is the direst extremity, when the threat is immediate and men are unavailable or have fallen in battle to prevent this very thing. Any civilization that puts women in the fight has failed its most fundamental responsibility to children, to women, to men, and to civilization itself. Even if women could meet ranger standards instead of being pushed through after failing again and again, our civilization has no business placing women in ranger battalions or any combat MOS. The reason women cannot, should not, must not fight is not merely or even primarily because they cannot fight, but because men cannot have babies. A society that loses half its male population in war can correct itself in a single generation, with a mere loosening of sexual mores for the survivors. A society that loses any significant percentage of its women is in dire trouble. The human reproductive cycle is uniquely fragile because it has been bent to its utmost limits to produce a race of giant brains. Our ability to create the next generation is under constant threat and must be protected, at the highest priority. This is why the human race is uniquely protective of women in a way that other species are not. Men, in the biological, demographic sense, are disposable, not as a matter of our economic value or moral worth, but because the tribe can survive losing one of us much more easily than it can survive losing a woman. Each sex role has a cost to bear. Men must come to grips with our own disposability, and make of ourselves something indispensable if we wish to be so. Women must have babies and care for them. The cost of the disgusting practice of placing women in combat is not merely the loss of the few women who take the job. It is the erosion of our basic awareness of what the tribe is for, and how it must operate to preserve itself. It is the symptom of a greater disease, but no disease is ever cured by enthusiastically embracing the symptom.
