🗣️ ‘We have to trust the system that it’s not being drawn by a five-year-old learning to use a pencil for the first time.’ Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou isn’t convinced Elijah Just’s disallowed goal was offside in his side’s 0-0 draw with Hibernian. Sponsored by cancelmyparkingticket.com

@EwenDCameron Aasgaard goal seemed really tight and may have been just off but I don’t think it was anywhere near as far off as the lines made it out to be.

Why are Ronnie & Callum so quick to shutdown any debate about the accuracy of the offside lines? BIZARRE 🤔 I’ve had issues with the tech all season and the drawing off the lines looks amateurish, imo. It’s time to stop using offside tech until it improves. Am I wrong?

🤬 @STVRonnie: "See that? You're trying to cause trouble! That is absolute BULLSH*T!!" 📺 @EwenDCameron: "The VAR camera angles are PATHETIC!! Get rid of VAR!! 👊 Ronnie: "The goal is offside, that's the reason you get abuse!!" Was that Aasgaard goal offside or onside?? 🤔🔵

Here is the Maeda blatant red card. Wasn't even considered being looked at by VAR or Beaton.

Player ratings vs Celtic @MitchLR Butland - 4 - seemed unsure and unsteady throughout the game. Didn’t have much to do but distribution was all over the place throughout the game. Sterling - 6 - played well screened the backline and provided width and attacking intent. Ultimately stayed on too long as looked to be struggling from the 75th onwards. Put a shift in. Djiga - 7 - solid game from being brought in from the cold before the game. Himself and manny look incredibly comfortable with each other. Fernandez - 8 - was a road block at the back for the full game and extra time. Tried to help make things happen and won his duals. Brilliant performance. Unlucky to have one chopped off (correctly for handball) Rommens - 7 - had a really good showing for the 100 minutes he played, was understably looking tired towards coming off. Constant threat going forward and covered his lines well. Diomande - 6 - took an early yellow card but didn’t let it bother him, was key in getting the ball around the attack well. Covered his defensively duties too. Was the right call to sub at Half time due to the yellow. Raskin - 6.5 - played well for the majority particularly putting Ina. Defensive shift and gathering the ball back. Looked burst come full time. Moore - 7 - caused all mannor of problems down our left wirh Rommans and was more than happy to keep taking his man on knowing he had the beating of him. Skov Olsen - 6 - flashes of quality again, but needed to do more. Wasn’t helped with a hyper focus of attacking down our left despite being in a good positions. Chermiti - 5 - some really good moments from him throughout including well timed breaks of the ball. Ultimately couldn’t get two good chances on target which was disappointing Naderi - 5 - similar to Chermiti but more industrial to help out in defence with a couple of good tackles. Much like Chermiti feel like he could have imposed himself on the backline better. Substitutes Chukwuani - 6 - came in added some freshness and and steel to the midfield. Could have done more creatively going forward. Bajrami - 6.5 - came in and added experience and calmness on the ball when the game was tight. Must be pushing Skov Olsen for a start next week. Gassama - 4 - poor from the winger today, played over both wings for his hour but once again situational awareness let him down and key decision making Tavernier - 7 - added quality and experience to a tiring team when he came in. Unfortunately the missed penalty will be his talking point not his contribution with good delivery. Souttar, meghoma - N/A late subs for second half injury time

@Craig_Dennett Did we have a shot on target of note? Says more about us than them. Rohl coaches the team and we barely created a chance in 120 mins against the worst Celtic team this century. Wake up ffs

That one stings but penalties are a lottery. Dominated from the first minute to the 120th minute but we’re so toothless in the final third and it has cost us. The fact Celtic didn’t have a shot on or off target in the whole game says it all. Isn’t on Danny Rohl in any way.

@raskinrangers72 They aren’t regressing as much as we think. They have 5 nailed on starters injured. They’ll be better next year & a bad year might end up with a double. Not even close to Gerrards spell

This period reminds me of Gerrard’s spell, where we are building and they are regressing We had to endure pain even though we were dominating them and they were doing nothing, they were scraping by with offside goals & zoom calls Next season we’ll be stronger and better

Seems to me the issue with the Celtic goal last night is that it’s not clear from the angles in what frame Forrest releases the ball. Hence confusion. Everyone will take an emotional view and miss the larger point. Our Poundland VAR is not fit for purpose. Let’s bin it.

If Celtic are going to win the league this year, Mark Fotheringham’s work with Sebastian Tounekti will be the reason When he gets going, he’s unstoppable and tonight has showed it. Just needs to find consistency now

This is the second or third time you've dug my name out for clout to make yourself look relevant. Il Et Temps was put up in a Priced Up double for those punters that wanted him boosted with Old Park Star at Haydock. A basic Saturday punter double that they voted for on my poll which we offered at a great price. I didn't go around screaming smash into him as a single at 2-5 as you've suggested. But as always, let's make a big story out of NOTHING, because the horse had an off day and you can come across as a smart patronising cunt to make yourself relevant using my name as bait. Best not to mention the piss poor prices you offer on course though, enjoy your time with the Twitter trolls.

Shaping up to be a thrilling race to the title in Scotland. Danny Rohl deserves enormous credit for what he’s done at Rangers since coming in. Looked at squad, found a system that’s suited the players he has and built momentum. Sign of a talented AND tactically flexible manager.
