@jcorrigangolf You're right. No way near world beaters. But also embarrassing they couldn't score more against that Welsh team. Two teams heading in different directions.

@rioferdy5 @FIFAcom The old classic 🎣😂
Then tweet about Arsenal & tag Piers Morgan to fill your notifications up 👍😉
English

And rightly so, he was fantastic when he came on.
Thoughts on the price of the World Cup tickets @rioferdy5
A man of the people would surely call @FIFAcom & Infantino out 🤷🏻♂️
Or was your pay packet for the draw (acting 🤯😭) to buy your silence 🤫
Rio Ferdinand@rioferdy5
Thoughts @Carra23? “Mo Salah” being sung by the Kop

Someone was describing two people to me and said "they both work at Patagonia" as if that explained everything about them.
And honestly? It kind of did.
I was supposed to instantly understand everything. Their values, their lifestyle, their ethics.
That's when it hit me: how rare it is for a company name to communicate an entire worldview.
What other companies have built a brand that's literally shorthand for character?
English

@golfcourses101 I have. It's a cracker. Play it each year ahead of watching the Scottish open.

Who’s played Kilspindie in Scotland?
Jamie Kennedy@jamierkennedy
This photo is not edited. It's just an amazing shot of the sun shining on Kilspindie Golf Club.

@dylan_dethier Classless comment from KB . 1. He signed up to the rule in advance and seemed to have no issue. 2. The 1/2 point would have made no difference here. 3. USA used this in 1991 which did impact the result.
Bring it up later, not now.

Keegan has called Luke Donald the greatest Ryder Cup captain ever and the Europeans maybe the greatest team ever — but also weighs in on the Envelope Rule:
“The rule has to change. It’s obvious to everybody in the sports world. Nothing against Viktor, but that rule has to change by the next Ryder Cup.”
English

@LouStagner I think the Europeans partially see this as money going back into their tour.
I can see the argument for getting paid, but equally for why that money should go back into organisations which put on tournaments from which they and so many other pros make a living.
English

Why should everyone be allowed to profit from the Ryder Cup except for the players?
It makes no sense.
The PGA of America and European Tour make MANY MILLIONS from TV rights, sponsorships, ticket sales, etc...
NBC/Sky Sports profit from massive viewership. Corporate sponsors get global exposure worth millions. Hotels, restaurants, and local businesses see huge windfalls.
Yet the 24 players who ARE the product... the reason that everyone wants to watch... are expected to do it purely 'for the honor'???
That honor argument might've worked in 1927 when it was an actual exhibition match...
But when you're generating HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in economic impact and everyone from the CEO to the beer vendor is getting paid...
...expecting the star performers to work for free isn't tradition, it's exploitation.
If it's really about patriotism and honor, why isn't everyone else working for free too?
English

@4golfonline @TBTee1 As an 11 HCP index I know all these points.... However I rarely stick to them. Just not disciplined enough in the moment. I probably need a caddy...
English

@TBTee1 If that’s what you took from this thread, that’s a shame. There’s also a difference between knowing this stuff and actually doing it all when caught up in the moment of playing. I’m guessing you haven’t watched the full video either? These aren’t just random points…

@Top100Rick Royal Melbourne, Victoria and Kingston Heath would like a word 😉
English

@footballontnt @grok what was the fastest (in kmh) penalty taken in the premier league last season?
English

@AMAZlNGNATURE @grok is this accurate and if so why is the orca reacting so aggressively?

🚨🏴⛳️ #WATCH — A caddie was seen dropping a ball for President Donald Trump during his Scotland golf trip.
Did he make par?
English

@jamierkennedy Hope you enjoyed the round. I'm playing there tomorrow in what's beginning to be a pre Scottish open tradition. Lovely track. Can't wait

@_PaulHayward @David6290181952 I agree it's a fair and respectful interview. Well done to linekar and shearer for asking the questions. However, they never ask pep the tough question. The charges are an issue on public record...
English

@David6290181952 It's not a journalist's job to ignore an issue that's already on the public record (put there, possibly, by sources at the club). Yes, he's just won the FA Cup, and that's been acknowledged, with praise. He can handle the question - and does.
English

Alan Shearer is right in his analysis and Gary Lineker has to ask the question. Ten Hag is a grown-up and defends himself well.
So why are so many people upset by an honest exchange between pros? Isn't that what we want?
Match of the Day@BBCMOTD
Pure honesty 🔴 🗣️ Great interview from @alanshearer and @garylineker with Erik ten Hag. #BBCFACup #BBCFootball
English

@alanshearer Fair question. Respectively delivered. 👏
But where was the question about city's 115 charges? If you're looking for balanced discourse, don't forget about the other side.
English

What part didn’t you like?
The part I said your team was incredible today and deserved to win or the part where I said you have been shit for large parts of the season ?
Left ish@Beatlesjimbo
@alanshearer The question to Ten Hag was uncalled for though. He's just won the bloody FA Cup, surely you could have allowed him to enjoy the moment.
