Ofir Birenbaum faced false accusations that shattered his life. The café's claims led to online hate and legal battles, causing immense pain for him and his family. Your support can help him clear his name and rebuild. Please consider donating or sharing this important cause. gofund.me/dad8d663e

I’d probably advise you do two things. When you send update emails on lost luggage don’t:
a) put the case as closed (out for dispatch.) when I know from your supplier @Roadie they haven’t even sent a driver to pick up! And I certainly haven’t got my bag yet!!
b) don’t put a tracking number link in your email that clicks through to the supplier (@Roadie ) on whose website it says tracking number INVALID! What…?
English

@JonoHerrman We'd advise that you remove your file number from public view and meet us in DMs for some updates!
English

@AmericanAir / @AACenter … waiting outside in the cold of #Atlanta for my delayed bag delivery:
File ID: ATLAA13992412
System says dispatched but now case closed and not here!?!
Please have someone call 🥶
English

These are just reference numbers. Your notification of a tracking number went to @Roadie whose site said invalid number (BDO# 7703985)… rang them and @Roadie said driver still on the way to ATL to get the bag!? Now 10:40pm @AmericanAir earlier said bag picked up by @Roadie at 9:08pm!?!

@WebcentralAU I had a legacy setup (ie I've been a loyal customer for years) and your UI systems have screwed up my emails and caused much inconvenience in my business. Your Live Chat agents have no idea. Ticket (WCG-ETX-436-51965)

@CherylWroteIt I put up a public Facebook post re a North Shore Sydney interfaith initiative (Christians lightning a candle in their window over Xmas for solidarity with Jews)… feel free to like and share: facebook.com/share/17webqJU…

To all Jews and Christians, perhaps we need to realize there may be a reason why this year, with everything going on around us, the first day of Chanukkah and Christmas fall on the same day. This year leading into the next is a time when we should stand together, united, in solidarity, friendship and strength.

@elderofziyon Do you have a source for the original (even in Hebrew)?
English

Hagai Lober, whose son, Yonatan was killed in Gaza, speaks to the hostage families who called to intensify the protests against the government:
--------
"Nobody will burn down my country.
>
We are sick and tired of the threats from the extremists.
Yes, even if those extremists have family in Gaza.
You won't burn down the country.
It's not in the books.
And if I have to rise against you, I will.
Millions of people view you with mistrust, discord and horror.
And only out of respect for you, are they silent.
I won't be silent.
>
My son was killed in Gaza.
He went to defend and free your children, and was killed.
He left everything behind, left a wife and a nine month old baby,
And was killed.
He will never come back again. Not in any deal.
>
And therefore, I am allowed to tell you:
You cannot dismantle the country.
You cannot riot.
You cannot block roads.
You cannot clash with police.
You cannot call for military recalcitrance.
You cannot rattle police cars.
You cannot attempt to break into the Prime Minister's house.
>
The fact that your children are hostage in Gaza,
Is painful. It's sad. It's slicing us all from within.
It will cause me to send my three remaining children -
To fight, to risk their lives for you.
>
But it does not give you extra privilege:
>
You don't have the right to "remove your gloves"
You don't have the right to curse public representatives.
You don't have the right to scream, "Shame!"
You don't have the right to disrupt the public peace.
You don't have the right to block the airport.
You don't have the right to announce an economic strike.
You don't have that right at all.
>
Control yourselves, you hear?!
C-O-N-T-R-O-L
>
Express your opinions - and don't scream.
Say that we need a settlement now - and don't block the roads.
Demand the release of everyone for everyone - and don't call for a rebellion.
Say that the Knesset should not be adjourned- and don't threaten.
Say that Bibi must be replaced -and don't light fires.
Say that we must hold elections now - and don't you dare storm the Knesset.
Say that everyone has failed - and don't even think of the possibility of a coup.
>
Stop threatening this nation.
These are your opinons. We have heard them. Do not enforce them upon us.
>
You want to hear my opinion too?
>
In my opinion, Yonatan was killed because of the Oslo Accords, which some of you supported.
In my opinion, Yonatan was killed because of the disengagement (from Gaza), which some of you encouraged with banners of support at the entrance to the Kibbutzim.
>
And yet,
>
I don't shout at you in the streets.
I don't block your path
I don't refuse an order
I don't transfer my money overseas.
I don't curse your public representatives who still support all these disasters.
I send and will send my sons to fight.
I will support and will abide by any elected government, even if its opinion differs from mine.
I don't think I have the right to destroy this beloved country.
>
Because now we fight.
Because now we heal.
Because now we connect.
Now is the time to look outwards together.
This is the time to show love towards one another.
>
And to the "Kaplanistim" (those who block Tel Aviv's main road), to the "Brothers in Arms" (those who called for military refusal due to the reforms), to the Barak supporters and Olmert supporters who wanted to overthrow Bibi, I say:
Don't hitch a ride on the pain of the families.
Don't
Don't
Don't
>
Take it all back.
>
And know, dear hostage families,
We have not forgotten your loved ones, our brothers.
We have not forgotten and will not forget.
But enough.
Stop, for God's sake, for the country's sake, for victory's sake.
>
And if not,
I and others will be there.
Bereaved families, injured soldiers and hostage families who think differently.
We will stand together in the face of the anarchy,
And we won't let you.
We just won't."

@Foxtel For five months now, I’ve been getting a regular, Foxtel branded charge to my credit card. Your customer service centre says the account with my name was closed in 2021. No children or relatives have Foxtel [confirmed].
What’s your advice?
English

Let's-a go, wahoo!
#SuperMarioMovie is coming to Movies Family November 5th, Watch On Demand on Foxtel.

Sorry @BBCWorld, on your video at bbc.com/news/av/world-… behind your helmeted / padded reporter, there are literally kids skipping along and throwing water in the air in #Gaza ?!? Frame your shot with a busted ambulance, but kids have a beautiful naive truth to them.
English

@RodgerShanahan At least the exposure of antisemites is clear. 🥹😞
English

In the era of near instantaneous news, the strange thing about the tragic al-Ahli deaths is that is should be quite straightforward to tell whether an aerial-delivered bomb or a malfunctioning rocket/missile was to blame. For #Israel though, the info war on this incident is lost.
English

@RodgerShanahan @MSF Thanks for the heads up. Responded…
Jonathan Herrman@JonoHerrman
@MSF @DrChristou 1/2 But they still have supplies for rockets that are still being fired *every day* from Gaza. And please provide me one source… Just one… any news or media outlet that writes a line like “as the Gazans emerged from / ran into their bomb shelter”. …
English

It increasingly appears that this was not the case and a well-regarded NGO such as @MSF should be amending this and not adding to the disinformation out there. Given the consequences of unsubstantiated claims, @MSF should be leading the way in accuracy.
MSF International@MSF
We are horrified by the recent Israeli bombing of Ahli Arab Hospital in #Gaza City, which was treating patients and hosting displaced Gazans. Hundreds of people have reportedly been killed. This is a massacre. It is absolutely unacceptable...
English

The number of trucks allowed to deliver aid into #Gaza through the Rafah crossing on 21 October is totally insufficient compared to the desperate needs of the people, who have been under complete siege and relentless bombing for two weeks. 1/4
English

🚨 “Al Shifa hospital will soon run out of fuel and therefore electricity” - Guillemette Thomas, MSF medical coordinator in Palestine, talks about the risk of death that patients at Al Shifa hospital face due to the lack of electricity in #Gaza.
English

@MSF @DrChristou … 2/2 You can’t find it, because, despite Gaza, having extensive tunnel systems, they are being used by Hamas for military purposes.
They purposefully leave their citizens on the surface as human shields. What else would you expect from them?
#StandWithIsrael
English

“Patients – including those in critical condition – risk their lives either by moving, or by staying behind, in both cases perhaps to die without treatment.” - @DrChristou outlines the situation for people trying to seek or remain in medical care in #Gaza.
