How long is the Reddit boycott suppose to last and how come I suddenly been gatekept out of communities I was once apart of? I thought since I was already a long term member I'd still have access to them once they went private. This is rediculous, I literally can't troubleshoot

@AndyDotETH @ChristianSelig I haven’t logged in to Reddit in the last two days, and will stay away until things change for the better. I’ve used twitter more in the last 48 hours than ever before. It would be interesting if a blue check asked Elon if there has been any measurable increase in twitter volume

It's a real shame that Reddit seems to care this little about the community that rather than making an effort to talk to developers and moderators and apologize for how this was handled, they'd rather just wall themselves off and and dare users to keep going.

A 2-day blackout of Subreddits is really not going to do anything. If people want Reddit to start negotiating this blackout needs to be indefinite for as many subs as possible.

@mariusbancila @ericniebler It’s a protest and most subreddits held a vote among their followers (every subreddit by the way voted yes to the blackout). The mods are doing this for us, disabled users (accessibility apps are affected), and third party app users (like the hugely popular Apollo app on iPhone).

@ericniebler Mods on reddit thinking the community belongs to them so they can do anything they want. Anyone who marked a subreddit private should be ousted.

@hauntednyxie Many subs are going dark indefinitely, not just for 48 hours. These include huge subreddits like /r/iPhone. If the changes don’t get amended or reverted, there’s a solid chance those subs will never come back

@thomtakahata @shadowversegame Entire site is like that. 48 hour (and for many, indefinite) blackout in protest of Reddits new policy on APIs. If these changes don't get reverted, there's a good chance that the subreddit will never come back.
