From a non-trader perspective... I'm not convinced crypto, outside of Bitcoin, will offer the same opportunity it did in earlier cycles. What originally drew me into the space was the idea that individuals could get in early before big money showed up. Although VCs were always present, that was partially true for a while. Today the landscape looks very different. Institutions, quant funds, and professional market makers are deeply embedded in these markets now. Retail often ends up providing exit liquidity rather than getting the early edge. The tech stocks I held far outperformed any of my altcoin holdings, I'm talking about coins outside Bitcoin where I was comfortable going in with size (ETH, SOL, AVAX, LINK). That doesn’t mean crypto is finished. Bitcoin increasingly looks like the durable asset in the space. The rest of the market still moves in speculation cycles, but the risk-reward feels very different than it did at the beginning of last cycle or the previous one.

Binance? Pump fun? Kalshi? Polymarket? World Liberty? Surely there’s heaps.
