One of the worst purveyors of fake news on this website strikes again. The individual in question, Alvaro Mejia Ayala, will not be released. He’s detained in Loudoun County awaiting trial just like any other murder suspect would be. You can debate whether ICE should be involved, but the idea that Spanberger is (personally, somehow) releasing a baby murderer from prison, and specifically *because* he’s an illegal immigrant, is completely made up. But, hey, nearly 3,000 retweets for a blatant, obvious lie.

@jeffzrebiec Jeff, Are there any persons of color on Jesse's staff? I see there are rumblings going on at the head coach level where none have been hired yet. As a retired executive leading over 1400 employees across the country, I did find value in diversity and diversity of thought.

The Ravens are working to finalize a deal with Navy defensive coordinator P.J. Volker to join Jesse Minter’s staff as a defensive assistant, per sources.
Minter and Volker coached together at Georgia St and Indiana St and played college ball together. They are extremely close.

@eddsundquist @AdamSchefter To the outside fans it looks like Lamar falls short in the playoffs when in actuality we were outcoached in every single playoff loss. No adjustments when down, would stray from our identity randomly, lack of team discipline led to stupid self-inflicted wounds. Lots of stuff

Pitt is huge since both teams played them in November and Miami had the better margin of victory. Not saying it’s a sure thing but I can see it

Game flow is irrelevant comparative to results and the results are two common opponents and a H2H all of which favor Miami. Scoreboard over eye test

@JordanBell_Fort @ToddFuhrman @BetMGM Miami was tied at half with stanford 7-7. The miami discourse is dead really. You cant lose to unranked teams 2/3 weeks and expect the nation and committee to take you seriously. ND can get bumped by other teams but should definitely not get bumped by miami

That hasn’t been a consideration yet but Vegas is likely hedging on the comparison given they now have two common opponents (Stanford and Pitt) both Miami advantages on top of H2H

Because if we're a 10-2 team, it's not a question. But we were willing to go play that game. "So, is that what college football's about? Don't play anybody and just have a good record? @glynch1234 @RealSkipBayless Tested or not, good is good. I look at what your opponents did to others vs what they do to you. In both OU’s and tOSU’s case I’d say they’ve earned the high praise. Game changers all over each defense. Plays are there to be made on both, but still great

BOOMER SOONER: OU does it again, grinds out 17-6 win over Missouri with only 276 total yards. But OU D just hangs tough - Mizzou just 3-14 on 3rd down. Again: zero turnovers, took it away twice. 9-2 with LSU next at home, for a playoff berth.
