@robinmalik @Alex_A_Simons @MrAzureAD @AzureADIdentity We communicated the change via our "What's new in Azure Active Directory" documentation #users-can-only-create-security-and-microsoft-365-groups-in-azure-portal-being-deprecated" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ac…, and had notifications in the portal. Good to know you would expect this sort of information to be published on the roadmap!

If you do NOT want users to create security groups in #AzureAD, I’d strongly recommend to check the security groups setting in Groups -> General. There was a recent Microsoft change that enabled this option in our tenant.
