@MillsTwitch I also feel like they understand they are the NMS game and wear that. So yes I think they’d push a little more, but unlikely it’s ever close to the EA/2K level.

@JordanDunkin03 Issue is they did the same thing last year to start the year, community blew up and they backed it off. There are a lot of the times that live service games 'test the waters' to see what they can get by with. You HAVE to speak up when they do it.

@MillsTwitch Completely fair. Their track record doesn’t have a ton of EA/2K vibes. I feel like they may want more monetization(duh). But I feel like the mini seasons/abundance of stubs has become easier to stack at the same time. So sure there’s pack only cards. But MS print stubs as well.

@MillsTwitch @thuuuuney If it continues being a common occurrence sure. But we’re taking the first month of the game and tying it to one pack/Collection being a lot of pack only cards. Just like with LS and Miggy, you do not HAVE to get it done day one. If you have nothing to grind for, you’ll quit.

I have a simple metric for things. It’s called the “What if Ty Gibbs did that” metric. And I think everyone who is intellectually honest knows if Ty Gibbs did what @RyanPreece_ just did, people would be calling for every punishment under the sun.

I don’t see how Preece doesn’t get a suspension for verbally admitting he was going to wreck Gibbs yesterday. If it doesn’t happen, sure the hell better not be a punishment or hate when he gets his receipt. Never seen someone throw a tantrum that someone’s car was so fast.

Man, I’d go wild with this. If the #Cowboys did this trade BEFORE the draft unfolded… I’d be working to trade down from 4 to get an extra pick (if Reese or Bailey are gone), but not too far where I lose out on Downs and Delane. Imagine getting KC wanting to move up and DAL walking away with this 4 rounds of picks: No. 9 (from KC) No. 35 (from TEN) No. 40 (from KC) No. 92 (from SF) No. 112

@left2reigns I’ve been screaming forever for WWE to just throw someone that has earned/deserves the spotlight and see how it goes. Fatu is likely not beating Roman, but you’re giving him a chance to show what he brings and if the fans like it or not.

Man Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu feels so FRESH. – We saw the Usos come out with Roman, but it felt more like a babyface superstar doing championship victory celebration, not them bringing back the OG Bloodline. – When Jacob Fatu came out to challenge Roman, his promo delivery was intense as hell. You could actually feel the heat. – The crowd was chanting “FATU FATU FATU FATU.” – You could literally see the proud expressions on Roman Reigns and the Usos’ faces. This match won’t be a typical Bloodline match like old times, where interference and lots of shenanigans occur. Fatu is an elite ring worker and can do wonders with Roman. It’s going to elevate him big time after this feud This match is gonna cook HARD cant wait🥵

@CoachBreeze_ I seen someone mention that it’s almost better for younger guys to be in shit equipment because even when the best they won’t have any idea what to do with it yet. I 100% believe Ty’s matured well. I’m sure there was some issues at the beginning. But I think it’s less than given.

Members of the media have also alluded to it and/or hearing about it behind closed doors, especially with Chris Gabehart. It’s definitely a learning curve, which is why most teams have now taken the approach of trying to sign veteran drivers who are more familiar with it over younger drivers who may not be.

Aight now. I’m happy for Ty Gibbs getting his first win. He’s worked hard and is one of, if not the most improved driver in the sport this year… BUT, can we not act like people (myself included) weren’t justified to raise a few eyebrows after 129 starts (3.5 years) without a win prior to today? Especially considering how hyped and dominant he was coming into Cup. You can be critical of someone and still be happy for them when they find success

@CoachBreeze_ I think Denny might be the only active JGR member that’s said anything close to that. Outside of that nobody said anything until the they left. I don’t think it’s happened with any team. The cup car is a learning curve. That’s why love hasn’t come up. And hill/allgaier arent cup.

That’s true, but how many drivers recently have also come from Xfinity or truck and immediately be put in top-tier equipment at one of the top 3 teams? I think that is why he had the expectation to win, on top of his dominance and Xfinity, he inherited most of Kyle Busch’s JGR team and equipment. The crew chief issues might also be partially on him because multiple people have suggested that he might be a little hard to work with.
