I still cannot believe that it's literally my grandfather's voice singing these songs! He was so talented!! My favorite one is "Will You Be My Love". I wish I had his record. I need to obtain it somehow. I think they might have one at this one record shop I know. 🎶🎵🎸 Sad I never got to know more than this of his music history. I would have loved to have heard the tale. I do wonder if he ever met Elvis or anyone else? I never got to know.

My biological grandfather Burel Keith Merritt (1936-2011) wasn't the best person, but when it came to music....he was a genius! He had the best voice and talent. He was a country rock star in his day! This is his record, and these are his songs from 1962. He was signed to a record label in the 1960s. His records are on discogs, and his songs are on YouTube. They were played at his funeral. The first photo is of him performing while playing the guitar and singing his music from his album. The last photo is of me holding his record in my hand. R.i.P. Oh my heart! 😍❤ The Winter Owls are back singing over the pond like they do every year when the weather gets cold at night. I love listening to their Winter songs. 🌙🦉🕯🍁❄🎵🎶 I've never heard them as early as Autumn. So this is a real treat!!

🦝 Why is my backyard literally a garden full of cute animals? First the owl, then the red headed woodpecker, then the bunny, and now the raccoon. He is still there as I tweet this. 🦝

This red headed woodpecker is always hammering outside my window every morning and evening. I ADORE it! You can hear my dad and my little brother doing school in the background. Then they start chasing my cat. LOL! ❤🖤🐦
