Troy Miller’s resurrection and renovation of this historic property instantly made this a must-play for people visiting Chucktown. The setting alone, on Jones Island along the Stono River, is alone worth the (very inexpensive) price of admission, but the Raynor-style greens complexes are what makes this lowcountry muni something really special.

When a fire burned Charmane Zeigler's house down in 2022, Zakai made a GoFundMe and @Vol_Hoops fans rushed to donate. The money raised allowed the Zeigler family to buy a new home in Knoxville. "I'm from New York, but my home is in Tennessee and my son taught me that."
