I'm enjoying an alfresco lunch today at the delightful Ashley Cottage Tearoom in #ChesterleStreet. It has a lovely garden, barely 100m from the Front Street, and the food, welcome and value are always excellent 👏 #NetworkNorthEast

@BluDigitalLife well its only like £150 a weekend ticket and our original hotel was £400 for 4 of us for three nights so deffo. headliners this year are pulp, sam fender and 1975 but with a few other great artists like Niall Horan, Kasabian, Paul Heaton

@JordanS_NE Would you say the price is worth it based on the whole festival experience? Who's the headline act at the festival this year?

@BluDigitalLife was looking like £1200 for 3 nights in a hotel or remaining airbnb. It does have quite a large pull as its an inner city festival but I reckon the main audience is from all over Scotland

@JordanS_NE Sounds interesting, Jordan! The BBC has a weekend in Glasgow too if I'm correct? Why was the legislation introduced? Does the festival bring out many people from other parts of the UK? #festivals

@BluDigitalLife Used to be T in the Park but its now TRNSMT and im unsure if the BBC has a hand in this. Theres close similarities which would say so! Erm not 100% sure but it was due to communal spaces, so my airbnb cancelled on me about two weeks ago and had to find a new place to stay

@soult I absolutely love York, being from Hull York has always been a stones throw away. Now in Newcastle, still only a quick hop on the train. Always blows me away.
