My first highlighted game of the @UANextBHoops National Semifinals was a highly anticipated showdown between @StarsNash_MBB 16U and @NovaVillage1, and it definitely lived up to the hype early. The Stars came out firing, building a 19-16 lead after the opening quarter behind the scorching shooting of #31 @RealCMarshall. The sharpshooter caught fire early, raining in 5 triples in the first half and keeping the Stars in control through much of the opening minutes. Nova Village answered with a strong second quarter, battling back to take a 32-28 lead into halftime. From there, Nova Village completely found its rhythm in the second half, catching fire from the perimeter, controlling the boards, and steadily pulling away for a convincing 72-53 victory. Nova Village was led by #0 @lucafila (IG), who delivered an electric all-around performance with 22 points and 5 rebounds while making big play after big play whenever his team needed a spark. #21 @BubbaDonald8 brought a physical, relentless presence with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals, attacking with confidence on both ends of the floor. #24 @Drewskii_40 stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, creating extra possessions with his disruptive defense and relentless activity. Even in the loss, @RealCMarshall put on an absolute scoring showcase that had everyone in the gym locked in. Marshall exploded for 30 points and hit 8 threes, stretching the defense every time he touched the ball. His deep range, quick release, and fearless confidence made him a constant threat, and every shot felt like it had a chance to splash through the net. It was one of the most entertaining individual performances of the day and a reminder of just how explosive he can be when he gets rolling.
