I really hate being so negative but the fact a Shared Progression toggle wasn’t considered up until after the update released really summarizes how directionless and messy Borderlands 4 as a whole has been

@Ki11ersix I hate the way they handled shared progression, they’ve completely emptied the world for new game runs. You can’t even start from level 1 anymore coz the completed challenges just boost you straight to level 5-6.

About to pass out. Thoughts on the DLC: enjoyed it a lot on a level 13 skip C4SH. Think I’ll make a level 30 skip C4SH tomorrow. Play with viewers and try to get him to max level in one stream. Bounties here we come. Pros: -Ellie and Moxxi story is good -new level cap boosts build diversity -water and Shug-grapples are dope. Cons: -small-ish patch for fixes/changes -a bunch of bosses and drops are in Nightmare Rifts and good luck finding them. -shared progression needs a toggle OR just make it only apply to level 30 story skip characters. -some confusing tasks and mission steps at times -(redacted) is Ellie’s dad?! Who the hell is (redacted)?

we cant even start at level 1 no more XD. all teh cross progression challenges are checking off and giving XP. REALLY should have been a toggle man.

@Joltzdude139 @Borderlands Been saying this from the beginning. I understand a lot of players don’t want to redo certain things, but turning what is a huge amount of your side content into a one time completion is a huge hit to replayability.

@Borderlands Just want to throw this out there: IF this is not toggleable, you will just empty out your open world even more for new game runs. This is a double edge sword.

@MoxsyOG Unless somethi no drastically changes, it’ll be there when C4SH arrives. Normally, I would refrain from commenting on future timelines but wanted players to know we are trying to reduce the friction of swapping characters as much as possible.

Fingers crossed Gearbox can have this implemented by the time C4SH arrives this month in Borderlands 4. A lot of players will be returning and this will be huge QOL

@MoxsyOG It just seems weird to me that everyone will have a max level C4SH with everything unlocked day 1. Where’s the sense of progression in that? What am I meant to be aiming for if already have all that straight away?

@Ki11ersix Give the rare loot enemies some sort of dedicated drop. I think a minor increase to pearl drop chance would be good.

This is absolutely a positive change on all fronts. People that want an easy Pearl can do the Bounty Mission. But those that want to feel like they earned rare loot now have a good chase What do you think they need to fix next? Personally I need the XP grind to feel better.

@Borderlands Make the rare loot enemies more exciting by making those the only enemies to have an increased drop chance for pearls. Otherwise just have them be world drop only but with extremely rare chance.

@MoxsyOG @Borderlands I always thought the hidden info like crit damage and splash radius should 100% be on the card because that’s really useful information.

PSA INSPECT YOUR PEARLS!! Due to the additional override roll it is possible for your pearl to have an additional part that isn't shown on the card. This is a Jakobs rolled Eigenburst and I didn't realize untill I started shooting it. This is a BIG issue @Borderlands
