@NetworkRailSCOT can you confirm whether maintenance teams use Environmental Management Plans, Environmental Impact Assessments or Facility Environmental Logs before carrying out works? I’m trying to understand what environmental documentation is required. @AlastairDalton

@JosephAndGod @AlastairDalton Hi Joseph, that's a fair amount of information you're looking for - is it for work that's planned you're looking to check this for? If so and you're railway staff, it'd be best to check in with your line manager or delivery unit team directly.

@NetworkRailSCOT can you confirm whether environmental screening is carried out before maintenance work begins, particularly for works taking place in or around tunnels? I’m trying to understand the process and when screening is considered required. @AlastairDalton

@ScotRail @smurf36 @ScotRail your own minimum fare policy doesn’t mention the Promise to Pay ticket anywhere in the exemptions. How are passengers meant to follow a process that isn’t explained, isn’t listed, and isn’t available on every machine? @JohnSwinney @transcotland

Hi. Can I still purchase my train tickets using my concession card whilst on the train without getting hit with the £10 minimum fare? @ScotRail

@JosephAndGod Hi Joseph, no unapproved access points were used, and environmental screening wasn't required, so it wasn't carried out before work began. This was signalling cable damage which our teams responded to on the day in Finnieston, Glasgow.

🚦 We're responding to a signal fault affecting services between Rutherglen and Anderston on the Argyle Line. This affects trains running via Glasgow Central low-level only, with high-level services unaffected. We'll share a further update soon. @ScotRail

@ScotRail @smurf36 @scotrail Can you confirm if a passenger should be charged a £10 minimum fare if the station is unmanned the machine doesn’t accept cash, there’s no Promise to Pay option on machine, and there’s no conductor onboard. How is anyone meant to follow the process in that situation?

@smurf36 So the advice is to buy from the Ticket Office if it's open, and if not you can buy on the train and still get your discounted fare. This is confirmed on our website. scotrail.co.uk/tickets/buy-be… ^Paul

@bowman_stu89453 @ReformUKScot Humanitarian donations aren’t taken from MSP wages and they’re part of the government’s discretionary spending powers. Scotland has done this for Ukraine, Pakistan floods, and other crises. it’s a tiny fraction of the budget and doesn’t reduce domestic services. @ReformUKScot

If SNP members are intent in giving 1/2 million pounds away then I state they should donate from their wages and make it personal We the people of Scotland sincerely don’t want this money wasted on Palestine. As a party representing the people this has to be raised repeatedly regardless who tries to oppose it

@ThomasKerrMSP @ReformUKScot @reformparty_uk Foreign policy is reserved to Westminster, so Scotland can’t ‘prioritise Palestine’ in the way you’re suggesting. What Holyrood can do is make humanitarian statements or donations, the same as councils across the UK. @ReformUKScot

John Swinney might prioritise Palestine - we won't. Reform will always put Scotland first.

@brodie_prime @rugbycath @scotgov Scotland has done this before for Ukraine and Pakistan. And Burnham talking about deeper devolution is just acknowledging that Westminster has failed parts of the UK, including Scotland. It’s not Scotland pretending to be independent.

@JosephAndGod @rugbycath @scotgov Scotland shouldn't be acting like it's already independent...the a uk govt provides foreign aid not a jumped up mayor. Andy Burnham wants more devolution? No thanks.

The Holyrood Establishment don't seem to get it - do they? If you come here illegally you should be deported, not given priority for housing or allowed to work.

@moomintroll41 That’s not accurate. The £500k is a humanitarian donation, not funding Hamas. Scotland has made similar humanitarian contributions for Ukraine, Pakistan and other crises. International aid is reserved, but devolved governments are allowed to make small humanitarian grants.

The SNP have just announced that £500k of taxpayer money is to be used for Palestinian Aid. International Aid is reserved matter. This money should be spent on Scotland, not virtue-signalling international aid donations.
