This is false -- I didn't complain about photos. But Boebert was the one who harassed a woman in the women's restroom thinking she was me -- only the member was not me. Maybe it was Boebert who ripped all the photos down because she couldn't tell if one of them might be trans?

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) explains to Alex Stein that Rep. Tim McBride (D-DE), a man pretending to be a woman, got mad that women had their photos in the women’s bathroom in the Capitol and he didn’t, so all the photos got removed. This is just shameful.

@isfjcutebear @uiyui_jk @tanpukunokami They do the same thing here. No consideration for the people around them.

@Lucky275ski @ShawnRyan762 Same here, seems like he has accepted money from someone.

@JosephCannon5 @ShawnRyan762 I've watched him for years. No way he put those thoughts together.

The petrodollar is the foundation of American power. Since the 1970s, oil has only been sold in dollars, forcing every nation on earth to hold dollars, fund our debt, and keep us dominant.
Iran just systematically dismantled that. They closed Hormuz, cutting 25% of global oil supply. Spiked oil to $118 a barrel. Then forced ships to pay in Chinese yuan for passage. Now Gulf states are dumping US treasuries, bond markets are selling off, inflation is surging, Deutsche Bank is warning of a petroyuan era.
Every link in the petrodollar chain is snapping at once. When it's gone, your borrowing costs explode, your savings erode, and America loses the financial weapon that has kept us dominant for 50 years. China wins without ever pulling a trigger.

Free him and drop the charges. Don’t want troops to bet on their own success? Then tell them and lay out clearer rules. It’s all basically the Wild Wild West right now. I also have no issue with them betting on their success. If the mission failed he would have lost his $, right?

BREAKING: DOJ announces it has arrested a US Special Forces soldier who took part in the raid that captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro after the soldier allegedly pocketed $400,000 by betting more than $30,000 on Maduro’s removal on Polymarket. Name: GANNON KEN VAN DYKE

@SenSchumer Eat shit Chuck. The hammer of justice is coming, and your ilk on the left have lost control of the narrative.

If Kash Patel wants to keep partying, he can do it somewhere else. But first he must resign from the FBI immediately.
He's not a serious person. He does not have the skills for the job. He does not have sound judgment to lead the Bureau.
This is what happens when Trump nominates members of his fan club instead of qualified law enforcement professionals.

@adub01488424 @ExxAlerts @JimAtTheRez I wonder why.... possibly because we let in millions of unvaccinated, unvetted, 3rd world carriers.
English

@ExxAlerts @JimAtTheRez Measles isn’t as communicative, but keep in mind there used to be zero measles cases per year; we already have 1700 so far in 2026.

NEW: RFK Jr. embarrasses Democrat Senator Warnock after he started complaining about making cuts to the “rabies office.”
Warnock: You are gutting the very offices that keep American families safe from disturbing and deadly infectious diseases…
RFK: Senator, there are only one to three rabies cases a year in the United States. One person manning that office full-time probably can handle that traffic well.

In 675 AD, Japan banned meat.
Buddhism. And protecting the farming season.
For the next 1,200 years,
meat officially disappeared from Japanese tables.
(Deer and wild boar were still eaten quietly—as “medicine.”)
Instead, people grilled wild birds.
Sparrows. Pheasants. Quail.
At Edo-period shrines,
grilled sparrow was the specialty.
Whole bird. Bones and all.
1872.Emperor Meiji ate meat in public.
Nearly 12 centuries of taboo, broken.
But chicken was more expensive than beef.
Out of reach for ordinary people.
So street vendors got creative.
They used what butchers threw away:
organs, skin, scraps.
Meiji-era yakitori was reborn
as industrial waste.
1931.Azabu-Juban, Tokyo.
A poet named Shinpei Kusano
opened a yakitori stall called “Iwaki.”
Poetry couldn’t feed him.
The skewers barely could.
After the war, in the black markets,
chicken was scarce.
They skewered pork, beef, horse.
Still called it “yakitori.”
Late 1950s.
American broiler chickens arrived.
Chicken got cheap.
Yakitori, at last, was made from chicken.
Salarymen stopped by after work
for 50-yen skewers and cold beer.
It was where tired men went
to find themselves again.
2020s. Michelin stars.
$200 per person.
Reservations: six months out.
Chicken skin was once scraps.
Not even a supporting role.
Now it’s the star of the skewer.
The overlooked became the main event.

Traces of Texas reader R Burk Morris thoughtfully submitted this photo of his grandfather, Charles Sylvester "Ves" Morris (1883-1964), in his store in Archer City, Texas. R Burk didn't say when this was taken but Sylvester looks to be in his late 20s so probably about 1910 or so. Sylvester's father, James Alfred "Jim" Morris (1863-1937), had opened the general and feed store after he moved to Archer City from the Indian Territory. Notice the Shinola white and black shoe polish on the counter. There's a joke in here about knowing something from Shinola, but this is a PG page so I'm not going to make it. 🙂
Thank you, R Burk. Cool family artifact!
