Let’s End This Week Right
Week 20 Transformational Challenge
Scripture Reading
Psalm 16:7: “I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.”
Reflection
There is nothing God doesn’t know; therefore, there is nothing we can tell God. This is important because when we pray, instead of telling God what we want, we need to listen to the Holy Spirit and hear God’s perspective on the matter.
The Bible says, “For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:11)
How can we know what only God knows so that we can live in harmony with His will? It is through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit because only God can know the thoughts of God, and the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead.
Therefore, we need to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us daily so that God’s wisdom can be ours.
Prayer and Contemplation
Reflect on what the Bible teaches, meditate on it, and ask yourself, “How am I doing?” Then listen to what God is saying and let the Holy Spirit guide you in following it.
