What do you call someone who watched a webinar and is now THE EXPERT ON COVID?

The cleaning staff at our hospitals are hardly ever mentioned and they also deserve a tribute!

This sounds like a nice way share comfort. It’s what we do for men and women deployed in the #USmilitary. Would some thing like this pass hospital infection prevention and control review? @PSampathkumarMD

@MSharifpourMD This is great. How do patients like to use them most? How do you sterile them between patients?

@JosephHyder Joe, we have started using iPads. It is not the same but for our non-intubated ones we use iPads. Thoughts?

Think social distancing at home is bad? We have lots of patients in hospitals around the country feeling very lonely - no visitors, no human faces, few hands to hold. What is one way to safely make this a more human experience for our inpatients?

@AlexAndersonMD This is a really great idea and would help to communicate how much we care behind all the #PPE.

@AmyPearsonMD @Awareness_Live For ARDS, P:F ratio is nice and all but can be misleading. Patient vent-free days, survival, and functional status are why patients come to us. It’s worth holding judgement until a larger study is done. Other takes? @WarnerMatthewA

@Awareness_Live Primary outcome was improvement in P:F which was achieved. I wonder if it was powered for mortality/morbidity, we’d see these numbers become significant. @JosephHyder - thoughts?

I keep thinking of this Milton Friedman quote: 'Only a crisis — actual or perceived — produces real change. When that crisis occurs, the actions that are taken depend on the ideas that are lying around. (...) the politically impossible becomes politically inevitable.'

@JosephHyder I am going to be reviewer 1 and say: #1. The manuscript could likely be shortened. #2. Change ‘one of the biggest game changers’ to ‘HUGE game changers.’
