@JosephLevi @DorkDraft Yeah there’s a ton of nuance to the convo because I do agree. They don’t really flat out miss on players it’s just a lot of these guys are role players It works when you have a championship core, but I worry about the 3-4 years in the future without high end rookie contracts

@DorkDraft @JasonBishopNFL A ton of these guys have also played a substantial role stepping in during injuries and played a big part. Quality depth is just as important a lot of times.

Term starters is a hard gage for success… lots of variables. Biggest thing to me is if they get a second contract with the team. Normally that means it was a successful pick. Understand special teams isn’t sexy or as important but still starters for that units It’s a blessing to have a good roster.. and makes it harder for you ger players to crack the starting lineup. But doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Broncos hit on a 2nd/7th to get starting edges. Most teams would kill for that. And then resigned them.

@JasonBishopNFL I think he and Pat are too valuable at WR3/4 to give up. Can never have too many options there.

Yesterday I thought we should trade Franklin but honestly I think I’d rather give him another camp and see how much he improves He’s still only 23 and the leap he took from year one to two was a big one, maybe he has another jump in him? I wouldn’t want to give up on that
