Made my way out into the Galaxy to catch up with @JoelBryantHSOT and Felton Grove for their first football game. The crowd is phenomenal and the Galaxy are up big on Green Hope.

From the weather, to the crowd, to the facilities, and even to the result on the field, the first home football game in Felton Grove school history was a massive success. An all-around fantastic job by @WCPSS_Athletics, @JosephSharrow, and the Galaxy staff.

This is as good of an athletic setup as there is in Wake County. One gate leads to football/soccer/lacrosse/track and baseball with a shared concourse. Also props for the fresh landscaping effort and for keeping the thick forest of trees around the field.

Sophomore QB Chase Watts scores the first touchdown in Galaxy history. Felton defense forced a fumble on Green Hope’s second play.
