I hope I'm wrong but I think we are seeing roof panel 1 being liberated and taking panel 2 with it. If this is the case it would mean one of the gas generators for the water cooled launch deck exploded. Need a flyover to determine for sure.

@mathelirium Because the path of unification produced much fruit last century. However, the lack of progress this century suggests something about this path went off course. Also I agree, there seems to always be new science so we should be skeptical of a final theory.

Why do Physicists still talk about a "Theory of Everything? Isn’t the history of Physics almost a warning against that phrase? Newton looked final until General Relativity changed what space, time, mass, and gravity meant. Classical Physics looked complete until Quantum Mechanics forced a completely different language for nature at small scales. Even our best theories now work by domain. General Relativity for gravity and Spacetime, Quantum Field Theory for particles and forces.

@WKCosmo Many have not insisted SUSY. The problem is non-SUSY approaches also have failed to predict new detected physics. It seems the next step is either really hard or orthogonal to everything that makes sense so far.

So hear me out. What happens if we quit insisting that the universe is supersymmetric? Because every measurement indicates that it's ... not supersymmetric.
