I was invited to a 7am church service this morning that was meant to end by 9am. I told my four siblings to come along with me, but they didn’t go.
I actually considered staying back too, but I still went.
When I got there, the first thing I heard was, “Everyone should switch off your phones.” I was like, what kind of strict rule is this? 😅 but I just complied.
Next thing, each member was given 10kg of rice to go home with. 😩 Imagine if my siblings had come with me, we would have gone home with 50kg in total!
Honestly, it was my first time receiving a gift from church 😋🙏

Her neighbor r*ped her 13-year-old daughter at knifepoint. He served seven years, then walked free on parole.
The day María del Carmen García ran into him near her home, he looked her in the eye and asked how her daughter was doing.
She went and bought gasoline. She found him in a bar. She poured it over him and lit a match.
Antonio Cosme d*ed in the hospital with burns over 90% of his body. María del Carmen García was arrested the same day.
What would you have done in her place?

The man’s wife spent all day and made a wonderful pot roast for dinner for the whole family. The man being selfish, intentionally ate it all but a small portion because he was upset with her earlier.
She came into the kitchen while the meat was resting and almost flipped out when she saw what was left. She immediately called him down because she knew this was the kind of petty thing he does. If you spent all day cooking for the family and someone pulls a jerk move like this, would you bother cook for them anymore?

NEW: An urgent phone call from Saudi Crown Prince MBS changed Trump’s decision at the last minute:
President Trump had intended to declare a complete ceasefire and end the fighting against Iran in exchange for the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
However, a tense phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dramatically changed the plan.
According to White House sources, bin Salman begged Trump not to stop the war:
“This is a historic opportunity – we must finish the job and weaken the Iranian regime once and for all.”
In exchange for continuing the fighting, Saudi Arabia offered an unprecedented package of economic and strategic incentives.
Key points in the offer:
• $100 billion transferred directly to finance American war costs
• Full and immediate normalization with Israel after the fall of the regime
• Direct oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the port of Ashdod, turning Israel into a major energy hub
• Investment of approximately $1 trillion in the U.S. economy + purchase of $500 billion in American weapons
• Establishment of a new regional defense alliance, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other moderate countries under an American umbrella
• Joint naval force to control the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb
• Funding of strategic U.S. bases in Israel
• Joint reconstruction fund for a post-regime “secular and moderate” Iran
In the end, Trump announced a temporary ceasefire, not an end to the war as was expected.
Senior diplomatic sources describe the move as “a historic turning point” marking the beginning of a new regional order.

There was a time in my life I’ll never forget (First frame )
I had a job… but I was struggling badly.
From the outside, I looked fine, going to work, dressing neat, moving like every other working person. But inside, it was a different story.
By the second week of every month, I was already broke.
There was one mama in my area I used to collect provisions from on credit. Indomie, bread, small things just to survive. She knew me well because I was always saying,
“Mama, I’ll pay you when salary enters.”
And truly, once salary came… it didn’t last. Debts everywhere. The same money would clear what I owed, and I’d be back to zero again.
It became a cycle.
Work. Struggle. Borrow. Repeat.
I started trekking long distances to work just to save transport. Day after day. Under the sun, tired, drained.
One day, it got too much.
I didn’t go to work.
I sent a message that I was sick… but the truth was, I was just too broke and too weak to go anywhere. My body couldn’t take it anymore.
That day, I sat down and just thought about my life.
How can I be working every day… and still not be able to feed properly?
That moment changed something in me.
I started looking for better opportunities seriously. Applied everywhere. Faced rejections. Silence. But I kept going.
Eventually, I got a better job.
Not perfect. Not my dream yet. But better.
For the first time:
I could eat without calculating every meal
I stopped collecting food on credit
I wasn’t constantly owing people
I’m still not where I want to be.
But I’m no longer that guy who couldn’t afford to go to work.
And honestly?
That alone means everything to me.

@aproko_doctor @grok which state is currently experiencing this outbreak?
English

There’s a serious Lassa fever outbreak in Nigeria right now where 146 people have been confirmed dead in 11 weeks and there have been 582 confirmed cases.
25 doctors have been infected, and 3 have lost their lives.
If you are reading this, please stay safe. This virus spreads through the urine or droppings of infected rats, or human-to-human contact.
It starts like an ordinary fever, but it can quickly move to bleeding, a swollen face, and shock.
ALWAYS:
1. Cover your food and pots tightly.
2. Block the holes where rats enter your house.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
4. If you have a persistent fever, stop swallowing random drugs from the chemist. Go to the hospital immediately.
Our health workers are at risk, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is life-saving. We cannot afford to lose more people to a preventable disease.
Stay safe and retweet this to save a life today!
