Also, Don Knotts and Tim Conway together is an underrated comedy duo.

@Joseph_MSU We have a foreman who’s not even 5’ 6”, I believe, who is an amateur boxer. He once punch someone in the face who was 6’ 2”, for talking about his sister. I asked if he had to jump up to do it, and I was impressed when he told me that he did it flatfooed.

I just watched a video about how guys will fudge on their height, “I'm almost 6’ tall”. It's weird, but I get it. I am exactly 6’ tall, so it's thankfully something that I don’t have to give much thought too.

😂 The absolute funniest thing I ever saw in the Corps (and it wasn’t boot camp related): Two brand-new boots roll in, literally one hour old. We’re standing Friday formation, Gunny finishes his spill and does the usual “Any questions?” Platoon Sgt had already talked to them. Everybody knows the deal. First boot’s hand slowly creeps up. Gunny: “Yes, what is it?” Boot, dead serious: “Gunny… why do whales beach themselves?” The whole Company erupts. Gunny’s trying to hold it together, cracking up too. “Alright, alright… anybody ELSE got a question?” Second boot’s hand immediately slides up. We’re already dying. Gunny sighs: “What is it?” Second boot, with zero hesitation: “Gunny… why are apartments called apartments when apartments are not apart?” I was literally crying. Tears running down my face. Gunny just shook his head, dismissed formation, and walked off laughing.

@Joseph_MSU I don't know what the average height is, but that seems about right. Our younger son is 6’ 2” and he often mentions that he’s taller than I am.
