Long suffering Boston Utd and Seb Vettel fan Views my own and almost certainly don't reflect those of employers

@Lancsiron @bostonutdstats That was because of the lease or something, not because the quality of the ground was deemed too low

Net migration down 82%. Net migration is now at 171,000, down from a high of 944,000 under the Conservatives. This Government is restoring order and control to our borders.

HS2. A masterclass in how Britain destroys money. The cost: • 2011: £32.7bn • 2013: £45bn • 2015: £55.7bn • 2019: up to £88bn • 2020: up to £106bn • 2026: up to £102.7bn… for a fraction of the original route What’s been cut along the way: • 2021: Eastern leg to Leeds: SCRAPPED • 2022: Golborne link to Scotland: SCRAPPED • 2023: Birmingham → Manchester leg: SCRAPPED • 2023: Crewe hub: SCRAPPED • Euston terminus: paused, downsized from 10 platforms to 6, now needs private finance Original plan: 11 cities, 340 miles, £32bn, open 2026. What we’re getting: 4 stations, 140 miles, £100bn+, open 2039. A national embarrassment, paid for by taxpayers.

Should have either sent hull up without a playoff final or millwall as 3rd placed team But they couldn't not have the money making wembley game could they?

@JoshBUFC Yeah think one was at Radcliffe. We had 1,100 on for one of the games at Hilton Park cos you got a free ticket if you spent £20 at Asda 😂 one of my favourite RMI memories as a kid was a 1-0 FA Trophy win over Boston (Bastock in goal). First time we’d had a decent away support!

@LeytherMatt To be fair, it was bumper given that the 2 times we visited in that era the crowds were 175 and 93 (were they at radcliffe or somewhere?) Then again I went to Leigh at the old rugby ground in 2002 to watch us and 600odd looked very sparse on them big terraces!

@LeytherMatt Yeah I went to that. Was a bit over the top. The one upside to being thrown out of thay league at seasons end was thay they deemed it useless for NPL sides so it became the home end again unless we played fc united or one or two others

@JoshBUFC The issue is taking it apart safely & in one section and then installing elsewhere the cost is more than its worth, plus as a new stand it will have to meet new regs plus who would pass it for building standards and insurance purposes Think milmoor and darlo main stands not used

@Miles_Tarbox They apparently looked into it... although if they really wanted it that badly, they could've sorted something out. Surely wouldn't have cost much more than those bike sheds we got given
