The Premier League is set to have a managerial musical chairs this summer, the likes of which we've not seen in some time. For @ESPNFC: I wrote about some of the available (and possibly available) vacancies, and who might be a good fit at each spot espn.com/soccer/story/_…

@MttLacey Like with Liverpool, it seems they're giving the incumbent (Howe) at least the start of next season to sink or swim

I wonder what Iraola does now. He seems almost hellbent on staying in the PL, but the best gigs he could get are clubs like Fulham/Crystal Palace

@olaafw Unless I missed something, it seems they'll give Slot another chance if they qualify for the CL

@Blahovic The Wolves were good enough to make the finals, and that can do a lot for your rep/legacy

@MoeSquare The Nuggets are the ones that should feel bad. If they had gotten literally one (1) playoff-level rotation player, they had the road to go back-to-back in 2024. The Wolves were never good enough.

Given how the Thunder have ascended into dynastic talks, and now the Spurs are ahead of schedule, the Wolves should kind of regret not taking advantage of the open West bracket in 2024 by squeaking out a Finals appearance even though the Rudy/Ant era has been successful

the argument that Kobe was still better in 2010 was mostly reliant on "killer instinct" and the Lakers winning championships. otherwise there was just nothing. Bron was better, more productive, more efficient and won more with a worse team in the RS in both '09 & '10
