This is INSANE. DOGE wanted to move the "log in" button on the IRS website. Government contractors said it would take over 100 days to do this. @elonmusk team fixed the issue in around 70 minutes.

~$1BN is wasted *every month* on ineligible SNAP (food stamp) benefits. Overpayments occur when states allow recipients to continue receiving benefits despite incomes that should disqualify them. Other times, fraudsters collect benefits from multiple states due to lack of coordination. Eliminating waste & fraud in SNAP would save billions annually. This isn’t (or at least shouldn’t be) a partisan point.

@elonmusk Sad! You can purge billions in the first month just through obvious. Govt. contracts need to be best for 🇺🇸 vs deals based on lobbying & special interest. Make vendors bid on what they project they can save with a quality score to performance and we’ll clean the debt up asap!
