@shannonmstirone @_TheSeaning Seems like the "all successful business owners only care about money" thing is an oversimplification. The achievements of those with means have historically contributed greatly to the advancement of human civilization and technology.

But the truth is, these are two for-profit companies. These guys aren't trying to "make space accessible to everyone" they just want your money. Let's be clear. I think the entire narrative of this goodwill in space is bs because how much goodwill has come from them on Earth?

Because this is such a delicate subject, I'm going to try to elaborate a bit on this sentiment. Firstly, this is my opinion. I think the topic of space exploration is important and worth discussing. Thread:

I found these old experiments I made with a space elevator from Saturn's moon Titan. Never ended up using them for anything, but I'm quite happy with how I got the atmosphere to work. Regraded them a little and wanted to share.
