Thank you, MJJA, for hosting me for a fantastic Lunch & Learn. The turnout was incredible, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to connect and learn together.
Thank you JC Citizens Against Trafficking and Exploitation for allowing me to present to your board. These wonderful people are working hard to stop human trafficking in our community.

Thank you to St. Clair School District for a fantastic day of learning together. When a group brings that level of enthusiasm a week before spring break, you know you’re working with a special community. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow alongside you.
Last year I had the opportunity to work alongside Rolla Public Schools on their trauma-informed journey. Yesterday, I had the privilege of spending time with their high school students and members of the community.
It truly takes all of us working together to get this work done.
Years ago, Travanna and I dreamed about partnering to help Kansas City Public Schools grow in their trauma-informed work. Over the last two days, that vision has come to life. The synergy, alignment, and shared purpose have been powerful. I’m excited for what’s ahead.
I had a great day partnering with the incredible administrators and support staff at Kansas City Public Schools doing trauma-informed work. There was so much synergy in the room — thoughtful questions, shared experiences, and a collective commitment to doing what’s best for kids.
One day. Two great schools.
I had a tremendous time working with the incredible teams at Wisconsin Hills and Pilgrim Park Middle Schools. The entire staff dedicated the year to a book study of Be Their Hero: Trauma Informed Care, and it showed.
I had another great day at Northside Community School. While observing classrooms, I consistently saw teachers catching students doing it right. When we intentionally and consistently praise positive behavior, students learn that their attachment needs can be met at school.
Another great day at North Side Community School. We started the morning talking with the transportation staff about mental health, then I had the opportunity to observe classrooms and provide feedback to staff. I enjoy speaking, but consulting is my favorite
Grateful to El Dorado Springs R-II for a great day of learning and conversation. The staff’s engagement with this important topic was impressive—and sharing the stage with this cute pup definitely made it an even better day 🐾
It was an excellent professional development afternoon with @JoshVarner65 Since our time together, there have been so many conversations, thank you’s from staff, & ideas of how we can support our #bestofbeulah students to make better connections. @BeulahRalphElem#cpsbest
Two full days alongside the amazing educators at Northside Community School! Student observations, staff problem-solving, and micro-PD sessions made for meaningful, impactful work.
This school’s commitment to meeting the diverse needs of every scholar truly stands out.
School of the Osage is a truly special place. I had the privilege of kicking off the year with their amazing educators, and it was such a joy to return and work with their students and community. I love seeing a district take a holistic approach to supporting the community.
One day with two great districts. Grateful to Green City R-I and Adair County R-I for partnering to learn, reflect, and support one another in navigating the stress of being an educator.
Loved getting to start my year with one of my favorite schools. Northside Community is a special place. We kicked off the year in comfort with a interactive virtual keynote. Then had "office hours" in the afternoon for staff to get their questions answered one on one.
