@Trigg3100 @Kam7810 So what was the score Trigg? You make a great point since we must have lost by at least 10 pts, so those misses rebounds wouldn't have mattered...oh we lost by 7 points. Thats 3 ORB thay we could have have more chances to score. Possible 9 pts. They had 52 vs our 35 total.

Once again the impact of jock Landale. Has been decent enough to spark our offensive rebounding as it did a 180 after allstar break. Last night we got blown out on the glass. Roster changed. Didn’t have a big before the trade deadline…but who was being blamed?
Trigg Dibiase@Trigg3100

@Kam7810 @TBryant2005 @scotte561barns What significant change Kam? Tell me what significant change they made other than trading Trae? Kuminga has played like 6 games 😂

@Trigg3100 @Kam7810 Facts are facts: Before Jock arrived, Hawks was 10-10 and 6-6 with CJ. After Jock arrived on 2/5, Hawks record when he played 15 minutes and more: 14-6 and 16-6 overall. CJ played starter minutes except for one game while on the bench. All I see is Wes point is more accurate.

@JoshX378 @Kam7810 We were 2-5 with Jock on the team prior to inserting CJ into the starting lineup. One of the wins you yourself tried to discredit in an earlier debate cause Jokic didn’t play. Your entire argument is a waste of time 😂

@Trigg3100 @Kam7810 Or maybe all of the above? CJ couldn't beat Boston last night, but we beat them last time we played them and he only put up 13. But what was the difference between that last game and this game with Boston? Clue: Their biggest guy in the starting line-up didnt play that game.

@Kam7810 @Trigg3100 I mean Jock didnt play last night and we lost the Off and Def Rebound battle with Boston. We played good defense but still lost the game. I just don't know what happened.

@Kam7810 @Trigg3100 So lets use logic: Trae last played game was 12/27. Between then and Getting Jock, Hawks record was 10-10. With CJ before Jock, record was still 6-6. After Jock arrived on 2/5 and until now, Hawks record was 16-6. Interesting....

@Trigg3100 @JoshX378 So I just hope we keep it consistent because against top teams we haven’t been doing that well. Choked against Detroit, smacked by Houston and lost to Boston. Will have to see if we can keep it rolling to maintain at least the 6th seed

We’ve all seen the clips highlighting Darius Acuff’s defensive issues and it would be disingenuous to hand wave them. Still, I don’t think Acuff is a lost cause. I won’t argue that Acuff has been good nor would I project him to be good at the next level as being “good” at something requires consistency in both effort and ability and he hasn’t shown consistent effort on that side of the ball. I think part of it may be an effort to not pick up fouls, but that also shouldn’t excuse the inconsistency. The ability on the other hand is something I believe he does possess and the core issue is how often he is willing to lock in, sit down, and guard. Getting him to buy into that part will be up to his next team. All that to say…here is four minutes of Darius Acuff locking in and guarding.

Point guards in the NBA: - Luka Doncic: Defender? ❌ - Steph Curry: Defender? ❌ - Jalen Brunson: Defender? ❌ - Tyrese Maxey: Defender? ❌ - Trae Young: Defender? ❌ - James Harden: Defender? ❌ All exceptional on offense. Why is it all of a sudden a problem for Darius Acuff?

@ATLSportsZone Worth it if it means we get a higher chance in the lottery. We have chances to get the 5th spot, but improved odds in the lottery is more worth it.

The Atlanta #Hawks move back into the 6th seed 📈 Instead of a matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta would now face the New York Knicks in the playoffs 👀

@Dlove18091762 @929TheGame I agree, but Hawk fans here are near sided. Dyson is a good PG1, but not an elite scorer. Acuff plays like Brunson and Steph than Trae. These are the same guys who get mad when they see Clingan balling out vs ZR. Passing Acuff if he's at #8 would be a big regret.

@929TheGame Hawks fans are scared because Trae was a small Guard but Acuff is nothing like Trae and has a high ceiling if we have a pick to get him it would be a mistake to pass up on him

The Atlanta Hawks need a point guard, but who better to help them than Darius Acuff Jr.?

@ZachLangleyNBA I feel after Tony Retires, he's going to release his book and admit that he stuck his foot out on purpose to injure Trae to keep the Hawks from winning the chip...

Zaccharie Risacher’s nightly minutes need to be watched closely as the season comes to an end. After playing a career-low nine minutes against the Pistons, it’s becoming clear Coach Snyder won’t depend on him much during this vital stretch. Read more: soaringdownsouth.com/zaccharie-risa…
