my main problem with using canned stuff is just that they add too much moisture. You can see that the bean layer in the final product looks a bit soggy, wouldn't be an issue with fresh beans. I've seen people do this with casseroles too and it's never worth the time saved.

I've rarely said this, but I do think that there is cultural room for a 3rd party in the US. At this point, the Dems are anti-worker, so let the Republicans and the Dems fight about abortions and bathrooms, while literally anyone else can talk about securing Americans good jobs.
