Pretty fascinating to see all the backpedaling now that he's completely skewered his base. It was uneasy before Iran, but that was the turn of the prism for a lot of people that threw his administration into focus. Had he treated the electorate with a little more respect, I suspect it would have turned out differently.

Trump didn’t “betray you” because he couldn’t deport 10 million in one year, no one likely could. ICE had 1,800 field agents before the BBB passed July 4th. ICE only had 35 contracts with local law enforcement, they now have 1744. Now 25% of the FBI is working on immigration, JAG courts are efficiently handling cases, and over 100 other Former immigration judges were fired and replaced. There are dozens of layers to solving this problem and people online both don’t know and don’t care. Also The United States could not get rid of 100 million people in one year it’s not possible even if they were attempting a genocide which isn’t what we are talking about.

@ericmetaxas Trump betrayed US and I think he's being honest about what really matters to him which is why people recognized it so quickly for what it is. We voted for Trump but instead got Joe Biden 2.0, minus the autopen and wannabe commie NSC running things.

Hearing his conversations with his brother proved how incredibly waspy they both were. It was a glimpse into a world I've only seen on the most extreme periphery, interesting though. I'd like to believe he's sincere, but it's entertaining regardless... I don't understand everyone's desire to find some media savior.

my analysis of Tucker Carlson is that he wants to be seen as a good person and he has some kind of weird Christian guilt thing. He's a rich kid elite who wants to be viewed as a middle-class man of the people. It's never been about money

@ThomBrady5 I can’t tell whether he received a giant inheritance and does this at the behest of various agencies or he does this out of monetary necessity at the behest of various agencies

@Joshisforreal @ForecasterEnten I think you're missing the big picture. You can't even remember the open border crisis and other issues that are no longer debate topics right now. In just four years the DNC imported 5-9% of multiple nations into the US.

Historic: More voters blame Trump (77%) for gas prices rising than ever blamed Bush, Obama or Biden. A rare majority trifecta of Dems (95%), Indies (82%) & GOP (55%) now blame Trump. And unlike what Trump/Rick Scott argue, 64% say the war hasn't been worth higher gas prices.

@Joshisforreal @ForecasterEnten Thinking the US return to power play is solely a Trump admin idea isn't the way to think about this. This is the new regional power divide, and there isn't really a choice.

I’m so glad infowars went bankrupt. Crazy Alex Jones recently called for Trump to be removed by the 25th amendment. I’m laughing so hard that he was the one who was removed by karma. The Trump curse is real. FAFO!

Who can forget, it was brutal! This is brutal too. My main frustration with this situation was the admin didnt even try to sell it us, we were force fed it after being told midnight hammer was a total success and would set the Iranians back years. The two cant be true together. I dont like the lying and I dont like being treated like an idiot by an administration that clearly doesn't care what I think. I was aghast when they propped up Biden like a sick, political weekend at Beradministration. At this point, I'm perceiving the same level of disdain from this admin. I'd be thrilled to be proved wrong, but it's not looking good to me.

@ForecasterEnten Goldfish forgot about the Bidenflation already? They can blame Trump all they want, but if they vote for Democrats expect $5+/ga national average. Look at CA for your future if that's your choice.

@Peoples_Pundit It's an uplifting thought to think that real Americans could actually duke it out via votes in a real battle of public opinion and debate rather than the bullshit cheating that's been endemic for so long. A few more cycles at least, but I almost wonder if it's enough.

Now, get the citizenship question on the next U.S. census, pass the Save Act, and Democrats are FUCKED. They cannot win without gerrymandering and counting illegal aliens. They'd lose the House and Presidency for years despite Republicans largely being frauds.
Rich Baris THE PEOPLE'S PUNDIT@Peoples_Pundit

Republicans need to get realistic, real quick. It's too late for meaningful challenges to the map, BUT this should be the clarion call for 2026. If you get your asses kicked, Democrats will redraw these maps. Lose the court in NC and elsewhere, and it won't matter much at all.

@MattWalshBlog Matt Always thought you were a straight shooter, no pun intended, but how can you or anyone prove President Trump made a deal with this guy to spend his life in prison? Not sure where this is coming from. Can you enlighten me? Much respect Tom

I’m officially convinced. It was a hoax. The Trump Administration recruited a leftist Kamala Harris voting Trump hater to participate in a staged assassination that would include the shooter getting shot at and then locked in federal prison for the rest of his life. The Kamala Harris voter agreed to this plan, that works against his political and personal interests, because he’s just like a really generous guy. Meanwhile the Trump Administration, despite dastardly planning multiple assassination hoaxes, decided to keep their patsy alive and a permanent liability to them, rather than just killing him like they could have easily done. They did this because they also are really strangely generous in a very odd and specific way. So in summary we have a plot where all parties involved are working against their own interests with no real discernible benefit to any of them. There is no evidence of this plan and it doesn’t even make any intuitive sense and the motives for everyone are unclear if not insane, but still I believe it because I’m a very smart person.

@jeremykauffman For the market she was in, it sounds like cushy NGO, rush to spend all the money each year, jobs are on the decline. She'll have to retool, maybe she can learn to code or go to trade school, it will be good for her character I'm sure.

@Peoples_Pundit @AndrewKolvet I keep saying this as well, though I have no data like you do. When the angry rural right and the urban communists both think the system doesn't work and want to destroy it, it will be torn down. It feels like we're already there anecdotally from people I talk to.

Very similar to the numbers we released with @AndrewKolvet. It is terrifying. We're really in trouble when the right concludes institutions no longer work for them even when they play by the rules, and win. That's what keeps me up some nights.

A terrifying number of Americans condone political violence & most expect more assassinations. Our Sept 2025 poll for Australian TV's 10 News+ @10NewsAU revealed the numbers.

@AuronMacintyre I keep telling everyone that we're headed for dark days when both the urban communists and the pissed off rural folks want to burn down the system. I highly doubt what comes next would be more pro-humanity than what's in place. (Sarcastic understatement)

This is the critical lesson I’ve been trying to get conservatives to hear You have a brief window to secure the the support of younger generations by burning down the swamp and making our system serve Americans No reward for effort , do it or they’ll find someone who will
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

Most of the structural problems young people are angry about (affordability, inflation, employment, housing) were profoundly worsened under Biden. Historically so. So while the Trump admin’s policies (deportations etc.) have led to multiple months of decreasing rents as just one example, they’re still above pre-COVID levels. New H-1Bs are down 90% but Americans are still competing against millions of foreigners who are already here. Affordability and housing are the result of decades of mass migration, mass money printing, and mass regulation. I’m the first to say I would love for our side to focus like a laser beam on domestic issues that unlock the American Dream for the next generation, but the deeper truth is that many young people are deeply cynical about politics and for some very valid reasons, and they’ll take out their frustration on whoever is currently in office. We are in a race against the clock to put up big, bold, audacious wins to demonstrate our side can deliver for the next generation. It’s Mamdani vs MAGA. We must deliver so the civilizational arsonist, DSA Borg don’t burn it all down.

@LegendaryEnergy Don't be fooled, the SAVE act is not for voter ID. It's a trojan horse for federal voter suppression, preventing normal voters from using mail-in ballots, and the digital control grid. Voter ID is only the sales pitch.
