Union County is a deep shade of red. It is not similar to Wake County in its politics.

If you want to know why Republicans are worried they might lose North Carolina, this population growth is a big part of that. Wake County has seen massive inward migration from Yankees. Same with Union County outside Charlotte.

I mean, yeah, Baton Rouge admittedly not a spectacular place to live, but LSU does have a great, picturesque campus. Just don't walk too far north down Highland Road and don't look too closely at the condition of some of the buildings

Former NC State basketball coach Will Wade and his family are greeted by LSU staff on the general aviation terminal tarmac at RDU shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, afternoon. Wade confirmed at about 1 p.m. that he has resigned at NC State to take the head coaching job at LSU.

Just spoke with #ncpol Attorney General @JeffJacksonNC. He's suing to block the merger of Tegna and Nexstar, who own multiple local TV news stations in NC. He's worried their merger will lead to newsroom layoffs as well as higher cable/satellite prices for millions.
