This week, @TalkingCityFC signs off. Fittingly, the curtains will come down just a few weeks after we surpassed 100,000 all-time views on our articles, which we’ve been writing since 2019, an achievement that I’m very proud of. Thank you to MCFC and all who’ve supported us.

Loved contributing to this, putting these thoughts into words was cathartic in many ways. @PaulWilliams_85 has produced a compelling read. Yet I'm one of many in a diverse fan base, and have lived out of Melbourne for a while. So welcome whatever other perspectives there are.

This letter from @Boroondara council Mayor Lisa Hollingsworth shows that they care more about the value of their heritage listed homes than the homeless. She states: “it is important to note council and community involvement in the planning process has not created the current housing crisis” - when council planning mechanisms are absolutely a part of the cause. Stop voting for landlords.
