@BDaveWalters In one of my games, a Chaotic Neutral player murdered the town's favorite dog because he thought it would be funny and 'it's what my character would do.' So, the town, having all loved the dog, picked up their pitch forks and brought justice to the player. He did not like that.

Here's your reminder that unless it's a heroic act of self-sacrifice, 'it's what my character would do' is almost always the wrong move.
It's never worth disrupting the game and everyone else's enjoyment to live up to a standard *you created.*

2 days ago, the freelancing website #Fiverr made big changes to its Terms of Service, banning most of my services on the platform. I am currently investigating my options, including launching a class action lawsuit. If these changes have adversely affected you, reach out!

@robertliefeld I tell myself that it is simply a byproduct of our sensationalist-media-driven capitalist economy. Those nasty responses probably do better numbers in terms of driving clicks, and better metrics mean more money. It's unlikely personal, but they profit from making it seem so.

Two years ago at Christmas time, I was facing some of the toughest adversity I have ever had to confront in my life. As a present I got myself this pep talk from my friend James Marsters, in the style of his character Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am reposting this in case it can help someone else out there as much as it helped me. I still watch it from time to time when I need to smile, or maybe just need a little motivation.
