A class action complaint has been filed today in New York federal court. The complaint speaks for itself, alleging fraud and other claims against Bruce Pon, Ocean Protocol and others.  For those of you who may be interested in learning more about the litigation and the claims you may have, you can send a message here oceanclaim@fetch.ai and it will be forwarded to K&L Gates, counsel for the plaintiffs who will respond in due course. With pending legal actions I will refrain from engaging on this matter in public. drive.google.com/file/d/1pZJzV0…

Just launched @CamoText, an offline text anonymization tool. CamoText is a desktop app for locally detecting and anonymizing PII in text before using in LLM prompts (i.e. have ChatGPT / Claude / Grok analyze a document or generate a basic form). Because I couldn’t find any simple software for my own use that ran locally on a typical laptop, I figured I might as well build it myself. Ultimately, I realized this probably is (or will be) a common issue, so I’m turning it into a lil side business. My thesis is pretty simple: (1) nearly every organization that drafts or analyzes text will use AI to augment their productivity; (2) there are serious confidentiality, privilege, and privacy issues with providing raw text to LLMs; and (3) users seeking private/compliant LLM workflows will prefer local-only software (no API calls) bundled with a simple UI that auto-anonymizes PII (and other private data), also with a simple way to redact additional text of any length, as confidentiality can be subjective. CamoText is built in python with bundled NLP— available now for Windows, MacOS coming soon. For more:

CamoText is live for Windows users! Ready to help anonymize sensitive text in AI workflows with a simple desktop app. Read the intro article for more details:

Short-term, the Trump admin means less federal enforcement risk for crypto, since the agencies aren't trying to kill the industry. Long-term, it means less federal regulatory risk as we get new rules that provide clarity. But it means nothing for private lawsuits and state law.

Sandboxes are great play spaces for kids and crypto, but we need to rethink a few things. Simple tweaks, such as ensuring a safe harbor for participants, could boost their effectiveness. @JoshuaLDurham and I propose a "Sustainable Sandbox" in a brief analysis on @CoinDesk
CoinDesk@CoinDesk

The U.S. should adopt regulatory sandboxes to foster innovation, clarify regulations and balance accountability in the crypto industry, say @JoshuaLDurham @KLGates and @JessicaFurr305 @dragonfly_xyz. Here's how. Opinion. trib.al/ioVZEHd

@scottastevenson Deepseek’s mimetic rise comes from its national competition/security context. It changed from “Google vs Microsoft” to “Us vs Them”
