@jamesjhaeck Incredibly relatable (also welcome to your 30s). Hope you celebrate the occasion well!

@drantbradley That's a cool program! I'm glad to see so many players take advantage of it.
English

@JoshuaMSimons We have special program for them to return and graduate. It’s not about the money or going pro. clemson.world/on-the-goal-li….

As if we weren't already in a pay to win society
Matt Binder@MattBinder
call me crazy but being a absurdly wealthy shouldn’t give you VIP access to the government
English

@DataDaveTV Agreed. Or at the very least, make it a separate type of match than quick matches.

Hot take: I don’t want a role queue. Let people go 1-3-2, 3-0-3 and whatever works for them. If there want to win, they’ll figure it out.

Fans of Marvel Rivals are calling for a role queue to solve a lack of tanks and healers in the game

Oops I've been thinking about running from the police and death thanks to the recent news cycle and wrote a game about it. It's free to play on itch.
Be Warned: It's kind of heavy and might make you contemplate your own mortality and ethics.

We’re so excited to share our #BrailleDice are launching December 6th! These will change #AccessibilityInTabletop in a big way, being the world’s first mass produced braille polyhedral dice. We have been working on them for over 5 years with our partners at @dieharddice 💜 🧵

English

@ThatNerdGurl_ As you start to work on this, I'm happy to chat about what goes into it as someone who has produced a few APs with varying budgets.

@avalonpenrose what do you mean, this is still twitter, just shittier

"Why die for Ukraine? It is not worth risking World War III and nuclear armageddon. Just give Russia everything they want."
Cowards in America right now are repeating history without even knowing it. "Why die for Danzig" or "Why die for Poland" is the slogan that fascist sympathizers repeated over and over after Hitler invaded Poland to start World War II.
Dictators do not give democracies a choice sometimes. It sucks but appeasing the Russians today will just make them stronger by the time they invade the next country on their list.
Stopping the Russians today in Ukraine is the best option that will save the most lives and PREVENT World War III. Ukraine holding is the only thing preventing World War III right now.

@jeffsexton @drantbradley The heart of my reasons is that this platform is becoming less and less appealing to use. Musk's changes are actively disincentivizing people from staying here.
Actions have consequences and if a business chooses to make their product less appealing, people will stop using it.
English

@jeffsexton @drantbradley Re: AI scrapers. Sure, there may be individuals scraping content over there, but here, the platform itself is using all content for AI training purposes with no opt out option.
Why would I post anything original or proprietary here when I know X will use it without a license?
English

Why are Dems more illiberal & intolerant when it comes to this? I don’t get it? Why would stop using a product/service because the owner has different political views? It’s just politics.🤷🏾♂️
The Missing Data Depot@data_depot
Exodus of some on the left from Twitter consistent w/ surveys showing large partisan differences in social tolerance. E.g. In surveys of college students, Dems were 7x more likely than Reps to avoid using a business owned by someone who voted differently than them.
English

@drantbradley Happy to talk with you more if you want.
You've got my number, we can chat college football and politics whenever you'd like. But those are my (admittedly wordy) two cents. 🙂
English

@drantbradley Final thought:
I believe tolerance is a social contract. If everyone agrees to abide by it, we're all covered by it.
However, if someone operates in bad faith under that contract, they're no longer covered by it.
IE. the "fuck your feelings" crowd loses the right to tolerance.
