@redheadedjenius @tatsncatss These statistics are accounting for reported instances only, and for women then is an overwhelming amount of support for those who report, for men there is instead a crippling stigma. We're talking 1/4 women vs 1/7 men being victims. My point stands, this is not a gender issue.

@JoshuaWaterma17 @tatsncatss Sorry, this isn't quite accurate. Non-reciprocal female perpetrated domestic violence is higher, meaning that when women hit first, men often don't fight back. But overall women are FAR more likely to be the victims of domestic violence, and FAR more likely to be injured by it.

@tatsncatss This is a pretty presumptuous and careless statement, the rate of female perpetrated domestic violence is higher than male-perpetrated domestic violence (31% higher) You should be more thoughtful when you make statements like this.
