@RossPitman101 It says to treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. So don't deport others, or class others as "illegal", or discriminate against others, or hate others - because you wouldn't want others to do that to you.

@JossSheldon For those who don't know it-: Matthew 7:12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” In layman's terms, Do to those what they do to you. but don't start the fight, but be the one to finish it.

If you want Britain to be a "Christian country", then please start by loving your neighbour - be they Christian or not, British or foreign, cis or trans.

@whyfemalematter That wasn't a protest against regular civilians - your "neighbours". That was a protest against the rich and powerful. So yeah, unite with your neighbours - no matter their birthplaces/nationalities/religions etc - and go and challenge the capitalists and bankers!

@sajm70 @10DowningStreet There was discrimination between groups. There was certainly a lot of friction between sedentary and nomadic peoples. But it would be hard to call it "racism" when the made-up concept of "race" hadn't been invented.

@UK_Rising_Now @JossSheldon Your inference seems to be that money which was actually Qatari money, and allowed in to Gaza in an attempt to ‘pacify’ Hamas, was a plot to allow Hamas to kill Jews? Am I reading you correctly, as I can’t see another reason you would be putting forward? An error; that’s all.

@doreh_012 The book is heavily referenced from a multitude of sources. It doesn't "flatten" Zionism. It looks at it from every angle - historical and present, Jewish and Christian, right-wing and left-wing, Political/Labour/Revisionist, it's attitude to a whole variety of Jewish groups...

All these things were a backlash against the Zionist project and the effects it had on the Palestinians (beginning with the First Aliyah, in 1881). Zionism provokes antisemitism. The concept of “race” took shape in Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries. The Jewish identity was formed 2200-2500 years ago. So discrimination against Jews predates racism by millenia. Although it had other names, like "Judeophobia". It was Wilhelm Marr who adapted the term "antisemitism", to describe anti-Jewish sentiment, and that wasn't until the 1800s.
