AI is moving fast, but are we moving with it? That’s a question I ask myself constantly. Being in a room full of people asking the same question was powerful and grounding. On Wednesday at the Black AI Futures: AI & Education event at the U.K. Parliament, this became the centre of every conversation.   The energy was focused on a clear purpose of ensuring thatBlack and Global Majority communities aren’t just participants in the AI era, but leaders, innovators, and architects of where it’s heading.   Every discussion reminded us that AI isn’t just about technology, it’s about humanity, access, justice, and opportunity. It’s about the communities that have historically carried the heaviest barriers in education, employment, and wellbeing. And it’s about making sure they are at the centre of this shift, not at the margins.   Thank you to the brilliant leaders who guided these conversations, including Dawn Butler MP, who made it clear that Parliament must move from listening to acting with urgency. The Future of AI Cannot Be Built Without Us. Honoured to be part of the Black AI Futures Roundtable at the House of Parliament, a powerful step toward ensuring Black and Global Majority communities co-lead the conversations shaping AI and inclusion. A key takeaway: Tech innovation means little if we ignore real-life barriers like food insecurity, childcare, housing, and healthcare. These must be addressed early to create truly inclusive, community-driven tech solutions. This aligns deeply with my work on digital transformation initiatives and the Hackney Hub Support project, where compassion and strategy meet to unlock lasting engagement with technology. Seeing leaders like Dawn Butler MP and Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP champion this work was encouraging. Their involvement gives hope that inclusive AI can shape real policy. Just received two copies of “It’s Probably Nothing” by @TVNaga01, and this isn’t just a book, it’s a much-needed wake-up call. One copy is staying with me. The other is on its way to support women in Uganda, where access to diagnosis and treatment for conditions like Adenomyosis and Endometriosis is almost non-existent. From what I have read so far, and what I have heard in media conversations around the launch, it’s deeply troubling that even in well-resourced countries, women’s health conditions are still dismissed or misunderstood. Now picture the scale of that injustice in developing countries. The pain is too much. The silence is loud. And the need is urgent. But this book isn’t just for women. It’s for: . Employers - to understand the invisible battles behind the brave faces . Friends & partners - to know how to show up better . Healthcare workers - to listen, learn and advocate . Men - to stand with, not back . Policy makers - to turn stories into action Whether you work in HR, education, community services, or simply care about people, this message is for you. Farewell Pope Francis: Carrying the Light Forward. Today, as Pope Francis is laid to rest, I feel a deep mix of sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow because a light so gentle, courageous, and unwavering has departed from our midst. Gratitude because that same light touched every corner of the world, through his Angelus blessings, his daily meditations, his encyclicals, his journeys, his homilies, his speeches, his smiles. A smile filled with mercy and hope that found even the hidden corners that many forgot. Pope Francis called us not only to believe but to act, to serve the poor, to protect creation, to fight injustice, and to remember that faith without love is empty. He taught us that economies must protect human dignity, that markets alone cannot heal a broken world, and that true progress must be measured by how we lift the least among us. Today, we honour him best not just in mourning, but in movement. If you truly admire what he stood for, now is the moment to live it: • Advocate for the poor. • Protect the Earth. • Challenge systems that harm rather than heal. • Build bridges, not walls. • Demand an economy that uplifts, not crushes. • Choose mercy, every single day. As global leaders reflect, let us lead by our choices, actions, and love. The journey Pope Francis began must now continue through us. Let's carry the flame forward. Rest well faithful servant. Post-lunch, the education team and our guests immersed themselves in local classroom activities, finding great inspiration in the enthusiasm and receptivity of the children. The day included a strategic meeting with teachers, exploring ways to enhance practical learning. The guests also had the pleasure of distributing digital tablets and laptops, which are going to enhance our goal of digital transformation in education.

Day Two: Unfolding Progress and Partnership in Uganda! We are thrilled to continue sharing the journey of our UK guests here in Kyazanga, Lwengo. The morning began with an exciting welcome at school, complete with our children's lively brass band performance. The children’s presentations deeply moved the guests, which showed the impressive talent and creativity at Kyazanga Modern Primary School. A tour of the newly renovated dormitories illustrated the tangible impact of our guests’ fundraising efforts. The doctors in the delegation were involved in different Health Centre activities and served the community. The day also included engaging discussions with David, a representative from the District Health Office, on the current healthcare landscape in Lwengo. A focus was placed on the upcoming Non-Communicable Diseases project, aiming to boost community health significantly.
