@dancingofpens Its so baffling because the music is so good, but it didn't get a lot of Tony love and not on the best block for a new musical based off an IP that is so niche. But try the telecharge lottery. I love it so much. Seen it 3x. Going for a 4th.

Real Women Have Curves came out a few years after Virgin Suicides, but the depiction of girlhood in this was much more relatable to me, especially as a plus sized black girl. It feels so fresh even now and I wish the director Patricia Cardoso got more flowers.
