This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

Roses are red, Violets are blue, The Romish doctrine concerning purgatory, pardons, worshipping and adoration, as well of images, as of reliques, and also invocation of saints, is a fond thing, vainly invented, and grounded upon no warranty of Scripture - Article XXII 💘

I think I believe what I’m calling FAFO universalism. Non-Christians are predestined to be saved. Those of us who call ourselves Christians on the other hand will be judged by the LORD with Bonhoeffer advising

My ranked choice on what state being 1st is best for selecting a good nominee (electorally not ideologically) 1. NC (reach swing state, Anderson Clayton, young diverse state, good mix of urban/rural 2. NV (swing state, diverse electorate, early test and invest in Latino voters, open to populist candidates in the past ) SC ( underinvested in red state, would be most direct empowerment of Black voters, very weak starting place for progressives ) NH (unrepresentative of other swing state especially on education levels, too small, very white. Very retail/machine politics) IA (had its shot for too long, caucuses are undemocratic, 2020 was a mess, very white, very rural, very uncompetitive rn

for statistically significant results we need a sample size larger than my actual pool of former significant others so I will be using the following criteria: - dated - kissed (with mens rea) - romantic tension + effective breakup - anyone who has tried to kill me (with passion)

No, that is not correct. The New Testament never names any of the Twelve Apostles as women, and every list of the Twelve in Scripture, Matthew 10, Mark 3, Luke 6, and Acts 1, records only men. The wider group of disciples included many holy women, but the office of Apostle in the strict sense was given to the Twelve, all of whom were male.

More importantly, what does God require for worship? Christ Himself chose only men as apostles, and the Church has no authority to change what He instituted. “The Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women.” Ordinatio Sacerdotalis 4 The Catechism is explicit: “The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord Himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.” CCC 1577 And Scripture reminds us: “No one takes this honor upon himself but only when called by God.” Hebrews 5:4 God’s will does not change because public opinion shifts.
